It was suggested to me, in store, that this might solve the problem. I ran it several times and it did then play one DVD before reverting to rejecting all discs. Perhaps my player has got lots of dust and, because we had not used it for some time, it had become hardened and incapable of being removed by the small brushes on this cleaner. I have only given the product 2 stars as it did not do what I was expecting. Maybe it would work better if used on a regular basis before dust, etc. builds up. I am going to have to purchase a new blue-ray player!

After discussing the disc reading issue that I was having with my Blu-ray player with a Best Buy associate, the thought was that my issue might be related to residue on the lens. Consequently, I purchased the lens cleaner. The problem is that when the cleaning process does not provide detailed information as to what is being done to clean the lens. After a few minutes you get a message indicating that the process has been completed and you are unable to determine if it worked as you cannot see the before and after condition of the lens.

The disc did not seat properly becuase of the small brushed on its underside. It may in fact have broken the player altogether since it will not play at all now.
