I have a very old cd player and stopped using it 2 years ago because every disc I played skipped. I finally decided to break down and replace it but decided to do one last search on fixing it. I bought this Laser Lens Cleaner and it completely solved my issues! Better to pay the $14.00 to give this a try instead of replacing the unit.

Did not work for my application to clean laser lens on car navigation system. It was old and could have been damaged while the car was in the shop. But I was inexpensive and a good try. I will keep for other uses. I am happy with my purchase.
