Works as expected and appears to be of good build quality. As mentioned in other reviews, it would be better if the adapter had two ports (jacks). One 3.5mm female jack for "Audio Out" and second lightening jack allowing simultaneous charging. If you are planning to use this to connect to the "Audio In" of a stereo (instead of headphones) and want to be able to use your phone at the same time, you may also want to consider the purchase of Male to Female, 3.5 mm extension cable of at least 6 feet or more. If you want to use this with your stereo and don't have a 3.5mm "Line In" or AUX jack on your stereo, you can use this with a 3.5 to RCA cable if you have available RCA inputs on the back of your stereo.
