Bought these for my husband and I to connect to our older iPhones to our audio bar for music in living room. One is still working, the other only worked for 3 days. Flipped around the insure the logo is upright and that helped it work 2 more days, then died. You get what you pay for....will only buy Apple going forward.

I think they need to have a strain relief to allow it to stand up the the flexing that is place on this extension. I have found another cable that appears to be a little better made but only time will tell.

When the packaged arrived, I was shocked to see a large CA Prop 65 warning on the back stating "Cancer and reproductive harm..." I re-checked the BB website and there is no disclosure of this. Other online retailers post Prop 65 warnings in the item description so that consumers can make educated decisions. I'm very disappointed in both BB and Insignia on this one as, in today's day and age, things can be made without known carcinogens. I'm happy I noticed it before giving it as a gift. I went and bought the genuine Apple adapters and am happy to say that they do not carry a Prop 65 warning label.
