It seemed to get a bit hot, but that's what these things do. Nothing too hot to stop the data transfer, which was quick and steady. The enclosure is not in continuous use, but it's in my toolbag in case the need to interact with an NVME drive arises! Would be nice to have a read-only switch to ensure no harm could come to enclosed drive, but that feature isn't here yet.

Transferred the M.2 drive easily into this enclosure and could access all the data on the drive. It boots from USB if BIOS is toggled to do so. Easy to transfer the M.2 into this enclosure.

High speed, sturdy enclosure

Actually keeping it around for disaster recovery and the like Because the speeds were fast and unlike most, this one has a sturdy metal housing. Pretty impressive when on sale.

There is a small plastic holder in side the enclosure you can change to hold drives of different sizes can be a bit figity at first but once you're used to it, it's nice holds the drive in place well.
