I like shopping at Best Buy because I can always find what I need. I was able to purchase my Insignia M.2 NVMe to USB-C SSD Enclosure-Black. It was what I needed.

This works well for flashing my NVMe drives, easy to use. Only "issue" is the latch that secures them is a little too close when using the last hole, but with the case closed it doesn't really matter. Definitely buy it again

I did not know they made these and when I found it I had to get one! It's so simple to use and made my life much easier! It's a awesome piece if you have a extra NVMe laying around and need more storage!

After installing a bigger NVME on my laptop, used this enclosure to convert the older NVME into an external USB-C drive. Now I have a portable linux installation that I use to boot any other PC, when I need to.

Great for extracting info from laptops that have catastrophic failure resulting in no access to hard drive. Pull out the drive and connect it a another system. If the drive is functioning tjere ya go

Generally good to use. You can feel the heat quick easily but it is what it is.

Bought this enclosure to assist in a hard drive upgrade on my Dell G7 7790 - Idk why Dell designs a gaming platform with a 256G C drive. Anyway, I put in a 2T C drive & needed to clone my original C Drive. This enclosure was fast enough & reliable & got the job done.

Quick, easy. Works as it should. What more could one ask?

Great item helped me transfer all of my SSD storage on to a bigger card

A little bit confusing to operate, if one could believe a device like this needs any "operation". What I mean is it's not a straightforward plug and play. You can not find the files that were on the drive where you expected them to be, and some files simply do not show at all. It takes a learning curve to become comfortable with it, but even so, some promises remain unfulfilled when you can never see again some of the files that were (or still are?) on the drive you are using this for.

Does exactly as intended, satisfied! Does not overheat, does get a little warm but expected.

This product is incredible and it’s made with high quality materials. The external casing is tough and durable making it resistant to scratches while protecting its internal contents. Takes around 15-20 seconds to swap out NVMe chips and is easy to do. I’ve been needing something like this for quite some time and highly recommend this product to anyone who needs an external NVMe bay for personal use.

So I bought this because I'm a service technician and since hard drives are starting to shift to m.2 and SSD I found it convenient to own this so that if I need to work on a m.2 drive I don't need to have get really involved and have to install it to another motherboard to get the data out of it. I would recommend it 100 percent for anyone who is looking for a tool that would help make their service work a bit faster and convenient.

This enclosure is easy to use and has fast read and write speeds. I use this to clone another drive and when I am done with the clone I will use the old drive in this to use as a storage drive.

Works well, would be nice if it were a usb 3.0 rather than a 2.0

It was used to migrate a NVME drive to a higher capacity. It seemed to get a bit hot, but that's what these things do. Nothing too hot to stop the data transfer, which was quick and steady. The enclosure is not in continuous use, but it's in my toolbag in case the need to interact with an NVME drive arises! Would be nice to have a read-only switch to ensure no harm could come to enclosed drive, but that feature isn't here yet.

This NVMe to USB-C enclosure has a smart tool-less design. I bought it to upgrade my 500 GB NVMe to a 4TB one, it worked well for the cloning process.
