Item was NOT an open-box item. Would have been a nice product had Best Buy not tried to sell returned inventory as new product.

Works with magsafe charger well so don't have to remove case to charge on magsafe. Only drawback is that the case does not cover the lightning charger port.

This leather case is a hard leather and it slightly slick, but as I mentioned before it sure the purpose.

The case didn’t open for the AirPods to drop out. The case feels smooth. I even bought two cases - one to use and one to give away. Highly recommended.
