I bought these to run a signal from my TV to my stereo in my RV. I needed these because I was already using an iSimple adapter to change the HDMI input on the stereo to composite video for the TV. I used these to piggy back onto the existing connections, and it worked perfectly.

The new digital equipment not have as many analog inputs as before. Excellent item to add extra analog connections.

These are fool proof connectors with good sounderstanding and clarity. These were very easy to install into the TV monitor and box. I know it has given us a great connection and sound with our new headphones. The Best Buy rep was fantastic in recommending them and allowing me to try them on.

I wanted to attach a sound bar and a receiver to the one subwoofer I have without digging behind the subwoofer every time I changed the sound. So I looked at an RCA Y cable hoping it would do the trick. Sure enough, it works like a champ. I don't get any sound bleed to the other speaker since the receiver is off when the soundbar is on, or vice versa. Very happy with this, and most of the time Best Buy's house brand items work for the simple tasks. Don't waste money on a Monster splitter or other high end cable if it's just going to be tucked away behind components indoors. This is just fine.

First of all, these Y adapters are not easy to find. Not many people still use Analog Devices. Since Radio Shack went out of business, a lot of these type adapters are difficult to find. So, I was very happy to see that Best Buy still carries these items. These adapters worked perfectly and made life so much easier when I had to connect my analog equipment to my receiver. Many thanks for being there for us guys who still use "old school" equipment.

This product was good for my needs. I used this splitter to connect 2 powered subwoofers to my 5.1 home theater system. The splitter does a great job in splitting the signal but i have one complaint. You need to make sure the powered subwoofers are off so that you do not risk blowing out the subwoofer. I had the receiver off and the volume low on my existing woofer. As i was connecting the RCA jack to the splitter my existing woofer let out a huge feedback pop although the volume was at its lowest setting. No damage on the subs thankfully.

Good quality and functional. I used it for a backup camera installation.

We've all been there. We go to our favorite Best Buy store, purchase the latest in Home Theater, then drive to the house, anticipating some serious surround-sound loud enough to drive the wife nuts (that's the whole point, right?). And then we realize the heartbeat of our system, the sub woofer, doesn't come with the cable necessary to make it go "BOOM!". Depending on which type of output/input you are dealing with, some receivers have an output with separate left/right, OR a single output, OR two outputs which allow for two subs. And then there's the other side of the equation: some subs have one input, OR two (yeah, a left AND a right, though with a sub, channel separation doesn't make any difference audibly). Therefore, it makes sense to purchase several of these "Y" adapters with a variety of ends, so you are never without. This way, you can drive home with a smile, confident you are not going to bang your head against the proverbial wall for coming up short, and having to drive BACK to Best Buy for a small, yet vitally-important cable connection. Yes Sir... It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and kick yourself for not having it (especially since you were walking all around it while shopping). Even if it isn't necessary for your current system, eventually the time will come when it will be. Trust me! Just be sure to place it where it can be easily found when you DO need it.

This audio cable was easy to install and it maintained the quality of sound.

I have a TV with only two audio outputs (red and white). But I wanted to connect both a home theater system and a stereo system to the TV. I bought two of these cord adaptors and was able to branch the single 2 plug output to a double output. It worked perfectly! Now I am able to play both TV and stereo at the same time and have a killer home theater and stereo system!

Don't know how to review an adapter cable--either it works or it doesn't. In this case, the adapter cable worked just as I hoped it would, splitting one output signal to two inputs. But I still miss Radio Shack!

Works well seems like a quality item for price. I used this item to connect a powered Polk audio powered subwoofer to powered klipsch speakers and it worked easily. Saved me lots of money not buying the overpriced subwoofer cable. Rca cables work just fine.

Works as it should to split a signal. Used mine to split LFE signal from home theatre reciever to run a third subwoofer. Didn't really notice any interference noises because I used nice shielded rocket fish sub cables.

I needed a plug with this specific capability when reconfiguring my home audio system. I needed it NOW! (I so miss Radio Shack!) Best Buy had it and it works great.

I have been using Y adapters both male-to-female and female-to-male for a very long time. They are a quick and easy fix for patching new equipment into a system until it can be done properly. As always, they're performing nicely.

The adapter worked as expected, just remember that it is to be used for sending one signal from one source to 2 different recipients, not for sending two input signals into one recipient.

This lets me easily split the audio signal from my TV so I have the choice of listening through my sound bar or, with the help of a Bluetooth transmitter, through my wireless headphones.
