First it took the Best Buy workers a minute to find because this is not being sold much and had made its way to the stock room. I paid $30 for it and just saw it a few weeks ago for like $10 or $15 dollars. A little disappointed about that but that’s the way of the road. I bought this because my GPS DVD in my Acura was not reading and had a nice sized scratch around it. Used the cleaning tool and it worked again. It does not remove the scratch, but it does clean and help the player read the media.

I was unsure of the product at first so to it's rather flimsy looking construction, but I was vary impressed by the results. Repairing discs with this is extremely easy and non time consuming. I have repaired many discs that were unrecognizable with this great product. I would have given 5 stars but one piece of the repair kit is slightly offset and makes an unpleasant sound, it is mostly due to the material used to make it being kinda flimsy. All in all a great purchase that saved me money.

It works as expected. Maybe is not the best one, but works fine for the pourpose.

It does what it says it does. May not work on all cd's depending on the scratch.

I needed this for some cd audiobooks that had some scratches and were in rough shape. I used this on a disk that would stop on a chapter and would not play any further on the disk at all. After I used it I only missed 1 minute of the cd rather than 1/2 of it. Easy to use. I miss the motorized one.

Very useful and easy to use. You do need to do 3+ full cycles to get the DVD back to full use.

My first impressions were that my kids XBOX 360 game was done for. He has managed to scratch up more than a few discs, but they usually still work...until now. I decided to spring for this and give it a shot. Followed the directions, dropped it in the Xbox 360, and it worked. So, happy kid! I'm sure I'll be fixing a few more, so in the long run the price is worth it.

If you have a scratched disc that you really like and has issues playing, spend the money and buy a new disc. This is a waste of money and is nothing but junk. Got it today, taking it back tomorrow. The image has a red ring to designate the area where the "remover" damaged the disc, not repair it.

Love that I can take out surface scratches and my dvd’s Will play like new.

Does the job, if a bit flimsily. Handle would regularly pop off. But hey, at least I can now play Tetris World for the Xbox

I bought this because I listen to books on cd while driving and I purchased a used one that had some scratches on them. I used this and saw a drastic improvement. I had to use it a couple of times on 2 disc with multiple scratches but after the second time the difference was very noticeable. I would recommend this.

Says will take scratches out, which it reduces most of them but marks up the surface with swirl marks so it goes from shinny with one scratch to the whole cd becoming marked up with swirly marks

Would be excellent if not for the extra elbow grease needed to get the CDs cleaned (haha). Really though, we've been pleased this far with it. Our youngest has used it to repair several DVDs.

Cleans a disk though the machine is make of plastic that does not seem to be very will put together. Have had no issued with cleaned disks working in my dvd player. Excellent value for price paid.

I buy and sell video games for a living and I needed a way to repair scratched discs. This is the only one that best buy carried. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised, it does it's job well for the money paid.

I had a DVD of my son's football highlights that no longer worked since it had too many scratches. I purchased this hoping it would work. It was easy to use and presto the dvd works again.

My only knock on this is that it doesn't give me the option to replace the wheel like the Disc Dr. However, it did help resurrect some of my treasured CDs.

It was really easy to use, had some cd's that need to be cleaned and it took the scratches off of them and I was able to play them without any skips in them.

This works. The first DVD I tried I needed to do it 4 times because it was really scratched, but it worked. My other DVD's and Wii games only took one cycle. I'm not thrilled about turning the crank. I used to have a motorized one. But what can I say. It works.
