I understand it doesn’t work in every case so gave 3 star so as to give it an average rating. I will say that before using this product, the DVD player could still read the disc. After using, I only get an error message on a blue screen. I’m not sure why this occurred since I followed the directions to a tee. I did notice after the using, the disc had swirl marks from the center to the outside of the disc about 3/8” apart as if the machine, rather than repairing was adding scratches. Never mind. I was going to replace the DVD anyway. The DVD, unlike Bond, didn’t live twice.
