Easy to use. Helped get rid of scratches but still had skips on some CDs.

I was able to fix up a 360 game with this so I'm very happy about that, but the crank you need to use with this device keeps falling out. I had to instead put pressure on the longer side of the crank to make sure it stays in. For the price I wish it felt a little more premium.

The disc cleaner worked on the first disc I tried but not in the second one

I was able to get out small scratches. Did not work for deep scratches.

This fixed one of the two cd's we tried so I think at this point it is a good investment.

Buffs out most minor scratches with minimal effort.

Did clean my disks good. The only thing is they don’ Have refills at the store.

Doesn't stand up to manufactures recommendations !!! Crank Handle keeps coming off !! Results did more damage to my DVD Disc !!! Now I have to order a new DVD and throw out this Insignia CD/DVD Cleaner and Repairer Unit since it's been over 14 days !!!

This is an excellent product because it cleans and restores all dis products. The unit I had before only cleaned CD's. You had to buy several units made for each product, CD, DVD, and software. Also games. Saves alot of hasslee and expense. Restores my products which gives them a chance to last and freedom of unlimites choices.

You are the motor...60 revolutions of the crank handle (not shown in the picture on the box) the DVD revolves once...suggested is 2 revolutions per disc And spray the surface often with the included liquid...For my Daughters 32 disc set of Full House I cranked that handle over 3,000 times...but she can play them again.

At the end of the day, I ended up replacing my 4K discs that somehow got scratched. It was too much work and didn't fully fix the problem. But may be worth it for minor scratches on rare discs. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully!

This device works pretty well but leaves alot of swirl marks.

Solid Disc Cleaner and Buffer. $10 less than others

Bought it for my 11 year old grandson to clean his xbox 360 games works really well restored 3 discs that would not play. Easy to use a little hard to tell when you have completed a complete cycle but you really need to do 2 cycles anyway.

Was skeptical at first but it works. It couldn't repair a dvd I was trying to fix but wasn't because of the device didn't work. The dvd I was trying to fix actually rotted so it was unfixable. But a cd and another dvd it worked flawlessly. It brought back the dvd from the brink and I was able to recover the data from it. Read the instructions though. SPRAY THE DISK FIRST! AND THEN ROTATE IT! AND THEN WIPE HORIZONTALLY, NOT VERTICALLY, UP AND DOWN! AND THEN BUFF HORIZONTALLY! If that doesn't work there might but something else wrong. I recommend this product if your looking to save your disc from the grave!

Does a good job on very lightly scratched discs. On others, hose with just slightly more damage, you might try more than five times with only minimal success. Do not expect miracles. There are no refills on the fluid. Once that is depleted, I don't know what you would do with the machine.

The REPAIR "KIT" actually rejuvenated/repaired about 90% of our DVD's that we've tried to fix so far (out of about 150 malfunctioning DVD's). We haven't tried CD's YET however, they're next. It's worth the price to "SALVAGE" previously thought Ruined DVD's.It doesn't fix them all-but worth TRYING before BUYING duplicates of Your favorites.

Gets rid of minor scratches only. Not for professional use

I gave this unit a three star rating because the handle would not stay in place. Once I was able to figure out how to use this unit in other than the recommended way it worked out fairly well.
