Needed a new disc repair tool and found this one. Simple and effective

I used this product on some very scratched discs and some not so scratched. It worked fairly well on the slightly scratched cds, but on the really bad scratches, even after 4-5 cleanings, the cost were still not working properly.

It does what it's supposed to do. Some of my discs were too scratched for the first use to fix; I may try them again. My only complaint is that the handle pops off while it's in use. I was able to make it work by babying it, but a little higher build quality would be appreciated.

Last one in store, it might work well in removing scratches if not deep, but had to return it, the knob that attaches to the handle to turn the mechanism, kept popping off. This made it impossible to use.

Easy to understand and use. Instructions are clear.

Bought this product because I was having issues with my dvds skipping. Did have some improvement but I am thinking it’s my player and not the dvds themselves. Easy to use. Does a good job of cleaning the dvd.

It did wonders for my gently scratched cds and dvds.

We used this to clean some cds. It worked fairly well.

I was skepticle at first, but when using the Insigna Manual Disc Repair System I was impressed. I look forward to using it all the time when a CD or DVD doesn't play the way it's suppose to.

I was able too fix a video game that didn't work so that was cool

For us, this was just complicated and we couldn't figure it out and people we asked weren 't sure either. WE returned it and got a different one somewhere else. That being said, I can't think of the last time I've returned something to best buy so this is pretty good.

Helps with discs that are not too damaged. For that works fine. Some discs with medium light scratch or dis-colored, works about 50%. Older disc and heavier scratch, doesn't work that well and I really didn't expect it to. Overall, for the price, it did the jib on discs I really wanted to save.

What a life saver. Our little girl has several DVDs that are her favorite, they have been well loved, but hard to replace. We bought the Disc Repair System in hopes to restore her DVDs to play. It worked wonders. Her DVDs are playing great. Veryuch worth the money.

I'm not even trying to "CRANK IT UP", but it does get the scratches off. I just wish the handle wasn't so finicky

Unfortunately the handle that operates the spinning action would not attach properly so I had to return it. The fact that this doesn't work on Blu-Rays, and disc video games is unfortunate as well.

Honestly, bought this on a 'hunch', worked very well, until 19Mon. old Nephew, thought it'd REALLY work, as a 'monster-mother-ship', in his toy soldier's-wars with the alien-creeps, so, down the stairs of the apt. building it went(trying to land on the good-guy-soldiers from Earth), and got what it so richly deserved-complete obliteration! Poor Little Man, when he realized he'd destroyed "Unqle's" beloved "Dwisc-Dr.", he was broken-up! I reassured him, it was from B.B., and that 'somehow', the B.B. Guys & Gals, would help me get another.(I'll gify myself another, round 'bout XMAS!)

The Insignia Manual Disc Repair System leaves the disc surface with the abrasion marks from the repair wheel and no amount of polishing will remove the marks. The DVD disc I purchased this for continually froze during play and would go no further but had no visible damage. This disc repair system did not repair this problem. To be fair, it may repair scratched discs but I have not used it to repair a scratched disc. My previous repair system left the DVD surface as shiny as new, so I was surprised the see the marks this system leaves on the disc.

This can remove big scratches on audio cds. It does. It does not. make it look perfect though. If you have an older CD player the cd could still skip. Buy an industrial grade one if you want perfect collector quality results.

So pleased we made this purchase; we are now able to use game disc for PlayStation and Wii we haven’t been able to ‘Run’ for a long time. Simple, affordable, quick, and successful process.
