This remote is a life saver. I hated having to turn on my controller just to watch something via streaming. This has all of the same function and more!

easy to use right out of the box. controls most general functions and media controls of our Xbox series S, as well as Xbox one X (prior gen). no crazy pairing operation to link it, uses IR basting.

This remote fits nicely in the hand and works with One X and Series X. Great for times when not gaming and don't need to have a controller to turn on to control the system.

This controller works great with my Xbox Series X. Now I don’t have to turn on/off my Xbox controller to controller apps.

I did not realize this is an IR remote and not bluetooth. But it's totally my mistake since the specifications clearly mention that. So a clear line of sight between Xbox and remote is required and the remote must be pointed right to the face of Xbox. It doesn't work if there is something like a blanket blocking it. Other than this slight annoyance the controls are working great for its price and I am keeping it.
