I purchased the Insignia branded version instead of the official Apple unit, it works just as good but at a cheaper price.

I'm using it to connect a small laptop with a large monitor. I am enjoying seeing everything on a big screen. It works great.

Works as Intended. Works with the 2014 Macbook pros that are labeled the Thunderbolt connectors. They are basically the same, and works great.

I purchased this to hook up my 22" LG monitor to my 21.5" 2012 iMac. Hooked it up with no problem and both monitors work good. Happy with it except was a little pricey. Cheaper then Apple's adapter though.

With a cable like this it either works or it doesn't. This one works and for the price compared to the official Apple product you really can't beat the deal. I have noticed some slight color differences but I believe that those are due to the external monitor/OS X and are not related to the cable. I haven't been able to confirm this however so I'll list it here.

Most people think , because it's white, it for apples only. Anything with a mini display port will work. I use mine on the Surface Pro 3.

I bought this to attach an external monitor to my iMac but decided I didn't need the external monitor so I returned this cable. Very overpriced in my opinion tho it did work.

Works Reliably; Cheaper than Apple. Pretty much sums it up.

This adapter allows you to connect a Mac/Macbook with mini display port or Thunderbolt port to a DVI monitor. It works as expected.

This was an easy setup and very fast. We were able to connect our MacBook Air to a separate display.

I got this to go with my new iMac in case I needed to use a second screen. Works great, but a bit on the pricey side though

I was able to use this to connect my Spectre 360 laptop to 2 Dell screens, and have all 3 screens function properly. Amazing! My last laptop could run two external screens, but would go black until i unplugged both screens. I'm running one Dell screen through the HDMI port, and this connector through the mini display port.

This adapter works exactly as it should, and costs a lot less than the Apple version. It does look a little clunky, but unless that sort of thing bothers you, is perfect.

Haven't used this item yet, but expect it to function just like all other Apple products - excellently.

It works connecting both my computers to the same keyboard and mouse. Only problem was I need another adapter to use the DVI display..

This is exactly what was needed to hook a Surface Pro 4 up to the docking station and large monitor.

I needed this to add a second monitor to my macbook pro. My local Best Buy store had it on hand.
