Plugged this in to the display port on my graphics card and then plugged my 4k hdmi cord into my 4k tv. Displays 4k at 60 hz, which is my monitors refresh rate, as it should no problems.

I bought a MacBook Air for presentations and work on the go when I could haul my iMac around with me. This insignia adapter has saved me lots of money and works every time - allowing me to connect via HDMI to display panels and projectors. Pick one of these up. Or get two, they're small and you'll probably lose one.

I had no idea it was so easy to transfer my MacBook Air to my TV. You plug in the cable in the computer and the HDMI to it and the TV and that's it. So far we have had no issues! It has made watching our church service so much easier.

Simple plug and play connector. Plugged it into my mid-2010 MacBook Pro and connected the TV and computer together with an HDMI cable. The picture came up flawlessly. I was streaming a movie through iTunes and it looked and sounded great from the speakers on the TV! Great price! Does the job with minimum cost!

I had tried two "budget internet no-name" adapters that a couple of my colleagues had purchased as a value added alternative to the Apple adapter and was not pleased with the results. was having is issue with my docking station not being able to connect to a monitor, the only port left was this mini display port and thought I'd give it a try. plugged it in and the monitor magically came to life! works perfectly!

BUT seriously, this has revolutionized my College Basketball viewing! If it streams in my laptop, I can see it on my big screen! Easy to install, some minor setting tweeking that even this non-techie could figure out! Great Value as are all the Insignia products. Would I recommend? Yes and have!

I bought my surface pro 3 in best buy, after that I notice I need an HDMI to connect it to my TV. This adapter works great, the best buy guys didn't know if I could use it in the surface due to the description and labels in the adapter box said Mac/Apple, so I bought it and voilà, it works!!!

I bought this to send the image of my computer up to my TV to watch football this year. So far it has worked beautifully. I have used it everyday for about an hour or so and nothing has gone wrong. It was a no brainer to check this out because it is so much cheaper than the Apple one

There's not much to say about a passive device like this other than it works as expected, doesn't have any issues related to manufacturing and it's low-cost compared to many other retail options (like Apple).

I am a big fan of Apple and their products, but I often find that the cost for peripherals and adapters can be much higher than comparable PC items. This insignia adapter was less than half the price of the Apple alternative and works great. I call that a win / win situation.

Our friend had this and brought it over one day with his computer so we could view what was on his computer on our tv. We have since bought one so we could do the same. It works great with my MacBook. I’ve never had any problems!

When you purchase any adapter the question is really straightforward. Will it work work or will it fail... In a word, this works! I use it with my MacBook Air and a variety of HDMI monitors and HDTVs. Plug and Play... That's the best description.

This device is very good for your Mac computer to TV with HDMI cord. I had one for about 5 years before needing another one . But keep in mind I had 5 kids pulling the adapter in & out or it would of lasted longer . overall good price for the product .

I set out to buy the Microsoft adapter, however the Best Buy Associate indicated it was not in stock--however, he recommended the Insignia version of the same item. It was less expensive and works well! Excellent combination!
