I use this when I had to do a presentation at a conference. I wanted to be sure that the appropriate adapter was available, and this was what I needed with my Surface notebook. It also works with my Mac computer.

This mini display port worked like a charm. I plugged it into my MacBook Air and connected an HDMI cord (not included) to a projector and it was instant magic. My powerpoint presentation and video rocked. Highly recommend.

Probably could have gotten it cheaper online but they had it in stock so to me it was worth not waiting. It connects my Macbook Pro to any device using an HDMI cable. I use a Samsung TV as a second monitor for the macbook and it works great.

I had the hardest time trying to find the right adapter that would enable me to use my smart TV as an additional monitor for my Surface Pro. This adapter was my third attempt at finding the right one to fit the surface Pro. I also needed an HDMI cord (which I already owned). Many sites had ads that claimed their adapter fit the surface pro model I had. When I receive them, they did not fit. Best Buy accurately described the item and had it at a competitive price. Best Buy also had curbside pick up [a nice option in view of the health crisis]. Sometimes it helps to see things on a big screen. This little adapter gives me that option.

Worked fine right out of the package. It’s pretty self-explanatory. I’ve been using it for over 4 weeks now with no issues. Just make sure you buy the correct adaptor for your equipment. My new workstation came with a display port instead of an HDMI port, so I thought a “Display port to HDMI” adaptor was needed. However that was the built-in display port, while the expensive graphics card I spec’d actually uses “mini display ports” so I had to get this model adaptor instead.

This adapter works flawlessly. It gives me another way to use my IMac. The only downside is that I have another piece of gear to carry around. It is small though and doesn't take up much room. i am glad I bought this adapter and would recommend it to a friend if they were looking for this type of functionality for their Mac.

Easy to use, works perfectly connecting an external monitor to the MS Surface Dock. No issues after using daily for over a month. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended!

I purchased this dongle to work with the mini display port on my work laptop I was able to connect it to my LG 27 inch 4k monitor. Has made my life a lot simpler

I bought this to hook up a Surface tablet to the TV to see if Windows Media Center would allow protected content to play on the TV. It worked. Protected content will not play on the display port screen of a Surface tablet.

Easy breazy to instal and use. Super clear image transferred. Thankful for best buy customer service team who adviced me to get the other piece necessary for mac to tv conversion. They were awesome. The price was also great.

So far this product is working as intended. Use for my surface pro 3 in order to have a bigger or secondary screen as needed for various projects. Cheaper than Microsoft version and no issues so far.

This was a handy little cable to plug my Macbook Air into a television via HDMI. I love how simple this cable was to use. That's Apple though. Well worth the price. I always have one with my laptop.

Works great with my Microsoft Surface Book 2 and its docking station. I had to update the Bios on the docking station, but after that - boom, worked great and have not had an issue!

Easy to use. Just plug and play. It allows me to display my Apple MacBook Air screen onto my Sony 55in Television by hooking up through the hdmi.
