Today got this morning mini speaker from INSIGNIA ..was on sale with a dirt cheap price of 12:99 .I never bought anything from INSIGNIA ( rumors that it's a less expensive company so products might compromise quality ) .But the today's discount from Best Buy ( a $27 break ) lure me to stop at Northern Blvd Best Buy store and jumped inside to grab this apportunity . Brought it home .once get relaxed from cooking and shower .open the box and pair it with my Motorola E 4 .Play Tony Igy Time (remix ). Wow this tini tiny thing is super .I moved my into my music collection's page 1980 right away cause as a dialysis patient 3 times in a week for 3 and 1/2 hour I listen the music on my phone as a DJ entertaining not only myself but fellow patients & pretty nurses .So click What a feeling .Irene Cara۔ Superb

Love this speaker! It has great, clear sound, including a solid bass. The speaker is loud and works great outside as well as in. The Bluetooth connects fast from different devices, too. It’s small and charges quickly and lasts a long time. What’s nice is the loud alert to advise you it needs charging. I have had this for over a year and use it regularly.

Has a great sound for it's size. You can hear clearly, it doesn't sound too forced/loud for the speaker to handle. As you can see it is round all around and has no corners so that's also very safe to use around kids. It's also pretty durable, as I've dropped it a couple times and it still works just fine, but that's why there is a strap because sometimes we just forget. It is very simple to use and that's why I like it. I think it's a very good affordable price when you're on a budget and it's size is very convenient because you can bring it almost anywhere. It may not be able to explode through a party, but around a small gathering sounds about right and if for personal use it's more than enough. It's just a great overall speaker that can give you what you want out of it.

First off, catch this one on sale when you buy it. This speaker has been under $15 on sale several times and even as low as $12.99. This is IPX4 rated, so it can withstand some splashes and moisture, but not made to be submerged in water. Battery life for this size speaker is great, coming in at up to 23 hours. Most small speakers this size only get around 5-10 hours. The Sonic Mini also supports TWS (True Wireless Stereo) when you use two speakers. This has one speaker playing the left channel and the other the right channel. You must have two Mini Sonic speakers to accomplish this, however. You can't use one of the larger Sonic speakers with the Mini for TWS. Sound quality is pretty solid for a small speaker. Bass is a little weak, but kept in perspective it's about what you would expect from a small speaker. Overall, a great little option for a shower speaker especially. Or a bathroom or desk speaker. Two thumbs up.

I recommend getting two speakers. Wirelessly connect the speaker to another compatible speaker for a more immersive sound experience.(Stereo). Water proof. 33ft distance. Works as a speaker phone. The only con I can think of is that the control buttons are hard to see. One feature I really like, when you pair two speakers together they will announce Left speaker and Right speaker. Nice sound with good bass.

I got this for the main purpose of listening to music or podcasts in the shower and it's been great. Doesn't have any trouble connecting to my phone. It is very lightweight and portable and have had no issues with water or steam effecting the speaker. The battery lasts a long time as well and has never run out on me (I try to charge the speaker once a week). The sound is great too. I definitely recommend!

Bought several of these for small filler Christmas gifts while on sale. I have to say for the sale price, so far I'm impressed. I've only tried one for about 30 minutes so far. They will not turn your house into a concert hall, but they really do sound better than I thought they would. They are small, convenient and if the specs are correct, the battery life is over 20 hours. Which is 3-4 times longer than competitors. And I hate charging stuff so that is awesome! I also bought some of the Altec Lansing micro units, which are smaller and much shorter battery life but I think these sound better. (Probably because the speaker is a little larger.)

I like this mini speaker. The sound is quite loud for its size and tone is good. Its shape and look, imo, is quite cool. They only reasons I didnt give 5stars is when connected to my ipad or iphone , when the volume adjustment is made from the Apple products, sometimes the sound level will NOT change. I’ll then have to scramble to adjust on the actual speaker. I dont know if that a problem with the Apple product or the Insignia. Its not a big problem for me , so I’ll continue to use it. Also, the next editon should have back lit controls for dark or low lights conditions. The controls are fine but cannot be seen at night. Answering/disconnecting the phone through the speaker is very nice. The battery life is good for my purposes. With these drawbacks in mind, I probably will not purchase another one and change to another brand. But for now, Stick it in on one wrist and the cellphone on the other and let the party begin. Lol!

These speakers are perfect in size and loud enough for a small party. I bought as a present for my grandfather and he uses it almost everyday to watch his tablet connected via Bluetooth. For this low price, this is the best loud speaker you can buy

I got this to use primarily as a way to listen to podcasts in my car that does not have a stereo with bluetooth or AUX-in ability. For this purpose, it is very good, with the primary positive attributes being: fits easily in cupholder, small enough to stash out of sight or take it with you, good battery life so don't need to recharge very often, loud enough and clear enough for listening to podcasts. As with most speakers this size, it is not great for listening to music. I returned a JBL clip3, which cost much more, and I prefer the Insignia, regardless of price. 5 stars because it is such a good value, and is perfect for what I want it to do. If you want a speaker this size for music, look elsewhere, and expect to pay more. Constructive criticisms: hard to see the control buttons as they are only lightly embossed on a rubber panel, and the power on-off press requires a long press which is a little bit too long.

Loud enough and sounds pretty good. Sometimes the bass of the music knocks the little thing over. But it's a good cheap buy.

It fits in the palm of your hand. The sound will definitely surprise you . Good volume for the size. Bass is what really threw me. I listen to a variety of genre from 2pac, r&b,jazz to some country. It has a nice rounded sound but leans a little more to the highs. I wish that I would have gotten a couple more when it was on sale. Worth the money!!!

Just bought this on sale for $19.99 figuring I'd give it a shot. Honestly, it's worth the full $40 price. This thing sounds AMAZING! I cannot believe how loud and clear it is, and it actually has some bonafide bass! It also connects very easily via Bluetooth, or you can get an aux cable if you prefer. I like Insignia products so I expected this to be a good speaker, especially with so many other good reviews, but it still managed to far exceed my expectations! As I only bought it tonight, I can't speak to its longevity, but judging by its solid build quality alone, I anticipate it will do fine. Other Insignia products I've owned have held up very well, so I have no doubt this will last as well. IF YOU WANT A GREAT BLUETOOTH SPEAKER WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK, THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU!

I got this because i was looking for a small speaker with decent battery life. This thing surpassed my expectations. It doesn’t compare with the top models but for the price, especially if on sale, it delivers big time. It gets decently loud without distortion and has great battery life if not listening at maximum volume. Even at maximum volume it lasts a long time. I’m not quite sure on the exact hours but i can have it on all day and it hasn’t died on me. If you want a decent speaker and are not looking to fill a party or something unrealistic, this is a good buy and won’t disappoint.

Small, cheap, loud. Three words that describe many bluetooth speakers. But this Insignia one definitely hits the mark for a benchmark of what is, without a doubt, a "good" one. For perspective, I've owned many of the cheap drug-store bluetooth speakers. The kind that, inevitably, go on clearance for less than a hershey's chocolate bar when people find out just how bad they are. But how does this one sound? Enough low end to actually hear bass notes and instrumentation in things like Classic Rock and modern rap music. Enough high end to not sound washed out. Vocals aren't crisp, but you can definitely hear 'em. It sounds... Good! It tends to distort above 85% volume depending in the track, however. But that's commonplace even on higher end Bluetooth speakers. The quoted 8-10hr battery life is pretty accurate, honestly. I took a 6-mile ride around town for a few hours, stopped to charge and eat a sandwich, turned around and rode back... and still had 50% left. Pretty solid. I have one zip-tied to the electric scooter I use to get around town for errands, blasting a delightfully annoying medley of old hip-hop, mid-2000's grunge rock, oldies, and country. It all sounds pretty decent on here. Overall... 4/5. If you don't want to spend $60 on a JBL Clip series, this isn't bad. I even bought one for my dad to jam out with in his garage!

This is a surprising little speaker. I did not expect much for it getting it so cheap by honestly the sound quality is very nice especially for a speaker of its size. I believe it sounds even better than the JBL Clip. The insignia speaker seems to have clearer bass and overall clearer sound. Volume is pretty good on it too, it's loud enough to use as a speaker for a small group, definitely not a party speaker but still good if small portable speaker is what you're looking for.

I use it to listen to music in my workstation at home - better than laptop speakers for sure, and its volume won't bother the rest of the house (though you can ramp it up really well). Not for those who want strong bass - this thing is way too small to satisfy you, but it's not at all bad and for me its small size is excellent for portability (size is a llittle larger than average adult female fist). Though i haven't given it a test run outdoors I'm sure it'll do fine.

Small, sturdy, light but it packs a punch. You can feel the bass. I have a 150$ Marshall speaker and this one is pretty fantastic in comparison. I was quite shocked about how well it sounded and felt in the hand. The lanyard strap is a nice touch. The button controls on the speaker is also nice. I loved the fact it showed the battery percentage on the top icon side of my iPhone. Well worth the money and you definitely will not be disappointed at all.

Well I was very pleased on this little tike. Was able to use on a road trip while Geek Squad has my head unit out for repair. Pairing was EZ and the ability to take hands free phone calls was excellent. Power Lasted 5 plus hours with the ability to be charged from a 12volt USB port via my cars electrical system. Sound is great. Bass is as good as possible with this unit. Got on Sale at 24.99 from 49.99.
