It provides a pretty consistent surface that lets you use precise tracking for both optical and laser mice and the bottom is non-slip so it doesn't slide around if you're going crazy with your mouse movement. Its size is just right for regular desk setups, doesn't take up too much room. Durable, simple, and effective, it's a great value especially for the price. I've had mine for almost two years now so I'm glad it's lasted this long !

It's the right size for basic use, a bit small for gaming. It's unobtrusive and portable enough to travel with. Also why are you asking me about ease of use. You put it on the table and then put a mouse on it. That's about as simple as you can get.

However, I bought a mouse pad with my $5 credit in the past. The cost was only $5 so it was a good deal. The pads have now increased to almost $8 dollars. Inflation?
