At first, I was slightly dissapointed when I got it home and removed it from the packaging because it is really thin. I am used to other mouse pads being thicker. However, it definitely serves its purpose. The design made me keep it. Would have given it 4 stars if a little thicker.

It also is durable and will not slide on a smooth surface. It also works very well with an optical mouse. We use for both the Windows machines and our iMac mouse. You cannot go wrong for this mouse pad at this price.

Sooo, since it lasted a couple years, I went to my "go to" store "Best Buy", and purchased a new one! I love going to Best Buy because I know, I'll find what I need. It's a great mouse pad, and just the right size for my desk. I recommend them, and give them 5 stars.

Did not need a thick rubber pad. Not really a high tech purchase but was glad to find what I wanted.

I was a bit wary at first because I'm not really experienced with mouse pads, and my mousing skills are only fair to middling. But boy am I happy now!
