I was disappointed that HP no longer produces a colorsmart printer version, as I liked the photo quality of my old HP printer. I purchased this model for two reasons. first because it still has individual color cartridges. I do not like all colors in one cartridge because when one color runs out I must discard the whole cartridge. In my experience, my colors do not run out simultaneously, and I don't want to waste money. My second reason is that the product was on sale, so I got more for my money by waiting for it to go on sale.
