Not a bad headset for $10! I work from home and use it when I’m on the phone. It’s light weight on my head as well and it’s clear. I just had to buy an iPhone adapter to connect it to my iPhone 12.

Insignia Talking Headphone works excellent, and for the price of $9.00 its amazing. Definitely worth the price, has a volume control a long cable that lets u move around which is very useful for getting up from the desk and taking a few steps.

I purchased the Insignia On-Ear Analog Mono Headset in Black on September 4, 2021, and unfortunately, I have to say that I am not very satisfied with this product. One of my biggest complaints about this headset is that it is not very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The earpiece is quite small and feels tight on my ear, which causes discomfort and even pain after wearing it for more than an hour or two. Additionally, the padding on the earpiece is quite thin, which doesn't provide much cushioning or support. Another issue I have with this headset is that the sound quality is not very good. The mono sound is quite tinny and lacks depth or richness. Additionally, the volume is not very loud, even when turned all the way up. This makes it difficult to hear clearly, especially in noisy environments. On the positive side, the design of the headset is sleek and simple, and it is very lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around. The cord is also a good length, which gives me plenty of room to move around without feeling tethered to my device.

I was ordering the AT&T Smartflip and have been needing a handsfree talk headset, so I ordered this Insignia headset. I needed something easier to put on than earbuds and that wouldn't fall out like earbuds. I wanted something lightweight, not full muffs with big drivers. Also wanted it to use less juice to conserve battery on my phones. After reading the reviews and questions/ answers it seemed to be the right choice. Bluetooth is too fussy for me, I don't like all the buttons and features on music oriented headsets. I just wanted something to plug in and put on. The headset was tested on some flip phones and smartphones using VoIP numbers over WiFi and regular cell service lines. I found that the sound was good, some calls low volume and hard to hear, others just fine. It varied with the service I used so I'm sure it depends on the service and the phone model. I was able to adjust volume on the phone and the inline volume switch. The mic boom rotates so that the headset speaker can be worn on either side. The pad is oval shaped, not round, and very small. The headband adjusts longer on both sides but it's not as quick to slip on as I thought it'd be. It takes some stretching to put it over my head, and the arms tend to slide back in by the time I get it on. The pad has to be centered on the ear to hear it well. The band slips around on my hair. Once in place it works as intended and for the price, can't complain too much. It's just small and feels a bit brittle. A more costly set would probably be better, and I may try some but will use these for now. I found with long hold times I could put my big JVC muffs on over the Insignia set, and listen to the TV during the wait for customer service to answer, then mute the muffs while talking. The Insignia headset 3.5mm plug is gold plated. It fit my ZTE zFiveG smartphone fine, but not my Motorola e5. It worked on my AT&T Alcatel Ideal and my old ZTE N817. It fit my Alcatel A405DL flip, my AT&T Alcatel Smartflip 4052R, and my ZTE z233VL flip. The plug was a bit firm to push in but once flush with the case, the sound was clear. The plug would not fit flush on the Motorola e5, it remained partly unplugged and no sound came through. Overall I'm okay with the set for the price. But i think I'll try a dual driver set next time.

The headset is kinda ok. Price is very good. Sound is ok for the price. It is also great that it has a connector to handle combined headphone and mike jacks or if those are separate. My main gripe is that the headset is very tight and the available adjustments do nothing to reduce the pressure. So I would not recommend it for anyone needing to wear this headset for a long time.

I used to have a turtle beach mic which was good until connection to my controller messed up so I bought this headset and I liked it but it was a little small but for the price I paid so I managed to use it also I have little bit of long hair now cause of quarantine so I can’t go to a barber shop but the mic or headset will pull a couple of hairs out of your hair so I just warning you but in all this is a good headset for a little gaming or a classroom for kids

I had a discount code and paid $5, but this is a great value at the regular price of $9.99. Don't let the low price fool you ... this headset is punching well above it's weight. I use it with my chromebook for work teams calls. Colleagues mentioned I sounded clearer than with my expensive Bluetooth wireless buds, which are supposed to have great microphones. The wired connection is simple and reassuring, just plug into the 3.5mm audio jack and the long cord allows some movement as well. Incoming sound quality is fine and loud enough out of the mono side, the microphone has a foam thingy so they can't hear you breathing and the hard plastic adjustable headband is more comfortable than you would think ... sometimes I forget I'm wearing it.

I have to admit that my head is larger than most so the fit is off. If you have a large head this may not be for you. I make it work for virtual meetings since it for work and my job won’t pay for a more expensive likely roomier type. Despite the size, I really like this headset. The sound quality is more than adequate and people can hear me well and I tend to speak softly.

For the price, you can't beat it. The sound is clear, the mic is clear, and it just works. If there is one downside, it's that it's not very comfortable for extended periods. I use it for the occasional Skype call here at work, so for what I paid, it's not a big deal since I don't wear it often or for very long.

Inexpensive- not "cheap" - great for Blackberry

I needed my hands free while typing and talking on my work-issued Blackberry phone, and earbuds were uncomfortable. Enter this inexpensive option! My callers all said the sound quality was as good as a land-line handset, and the adjustable microphone boom allowed for perfect placement near my mouth, without the extraneous noises created when earbuds brush against clothing. I love this headset, but perhaps if I had to pick one complaint-- the volume (adjustable with an in-line rocker switch) could stand to be a touch louder. But this unit does the job as well as it's $45 counterparts.

I wanted a hands-free boom-mic one-ear headset for phone calls. The quality of this unit is great, especially considering the price. Actually bought two, one for my wife and one for myself. We both find it very useful. The long wire allows you to keep your phone on your desk or in a pocket. I find the headband a little tight but if you play around with the two adjustments it can be made comfortable. But, the tension keeps the padded earpiece tight and in place. In fact I'm using it to dictate this review.

This headset provides good sound quality both ways. It is comfortable to wear during use or in anticipation of use. It is light and provides a solid connection to our landline phones. The microphone boom can be adjusted to almost an infinite number of positions and used on either ear. The price is very reasonable for a good, handy headphone.

Needed a quick headset got this since it was the cheapest. The quality is good, normal. Nothing like THX 7.1 but it gets the job done. Audio quality is clear no complaints about not being able to hear. the swivel mic allows you to use either side of your ear. 4 stars because it is not comfortable after extended use.

Work from home and needed a good headset for webx meetings through computer. Purchased this unit as a replacement to prior model I tried. Overall, love the ability to control the volume and mute the call on the cord. Volume quality is good as well. As well, there is padding on the top head piece, so the band is cushioned across the top of your head. The only complaint is the padding on ear piece. After a few hours, it gets a little uncomfortable. Feels as if it gets a little hot on the ears. This is in comparison to more expensive Beats, so unfair comparison on comfort. For the price, these are great for users needed then for work or extended time on calls.

This headset is surprisingly good quality for the price. It also works well with a cell phone (mine still has a jack), and I've been using it with my PC, too. The earpiece cover could be just a bit bigger, bu that would likely cost more!

Does just what it is supposed to do for the price. Nothing fancy. I would rather a 2 ear mic but Bestbuy didn't have the one I wanted in stock. The other end without the ear pad gets uncomfortable after a while but other than that, good product. Sound and voice clarity is A-Ok.

It's well made, does what it's supposed to, and inexpensive. My only complaint: after wearing it over my right ear for a few hours, my ear started to itch. I don't use this too often, but if I did, I would opt for a more expensive one, two earphones.
