Not useful for my TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a smart Phillips TV and wanted to connect my Sony sound system to it and was advised by bestbuy associate to purchase this Optical/Coaxial Digital-to-Analog Converter along with necessary cords for it to work because my tv Is not equipped with compatible connectivity component for the audio system. Setup was easy but unfortunately did not work. I even contacted both bestbuy and Phillip technical issue services and was told that the parts were correct and should have worked. Had to do some google researching about this common issue among other users and fortunately someone with the same exact scenario concluded that converter has to be analog to digital not digital to analog.
