    Plugged it in to our brand new TV and into several different inputs on our stereo and all I got was a buzz regardless of which input I plugged into. Returned it. Bought a Sound bar which is working great.

    Hooked wireless headphones (previously tested) to this unit, unplugged the optical audio cable from my soundbar and plugged it in to this and got nothing but a very annoying sound. Will return this one and try another.

    THIS WAS AN (OPEN BOX) ITEM THAT COINCIDENTALLY MATCHED A NEED OF MINE. SOMETIMES IT WORKED AND SOMETIMES IT DIDN'T AND I'M NOT GEEKY ENOUGH TO FIX IT. I PLAN TO RETURN IT AND GET CREDIT TOWARD SOMETHING ELSE.

    I purchased this product to connect my TV audio output to our surround sound system. It worked fine for TV but produced a sound like a motor boat when playing streaming video. I returned it to the store.

    Need more parts and c;earer instructions

    Product is not usable without more parts. Product does not fit on my optical TV outlet, Coaz cable does not work on product connector. I am frustrated and will bring the product back,

    This unit worked great for one day, and then it developed a loud rattling problem. It sounded like the signal was getting filtered through a loud floor fan. I returned the adapter and cannot recommend it.

    Did not work for intended use. Ended up using analog output on cable box to solve problem but this still created a sync audio/video problem not fixable with settings on cable box to adjust for latency delay

    Although plugging this converter into my home entertainment system should have easily solved a problem created by an updated DirecTV box, I wasn't able to get it to work. I returned it for credit.

    I’ve had some issues with this after awhile it cuts out and it needs to be unplugged and then plugged back in then it works

    Every few days, it stops working. You have to unplug from the AC outlet, and plug it back it. Then it works for a few days again.

    optical connection input is loose

    cheaply made for the price sold. does not hold connection with optical wire( constantly disconnects and if I had to hold it to maintain connection the sound would be distorted and with static)

    I really dont see anything special about this adaptor. It is over price and it does the minimum. Do not waste your $ on this product.

    GEEK SQUAD should have set this up when the delivered my TV! Instead they told what to buy . I did and this thing doesn't work! I haven't been able to get anyone to respond yet .
