Easy to use. Just plug in and flip the switch. Great sound quality.

I bought this to convert the digital out from my new tv to optical wireless headphones works great the only problem I have is I have to switch the cables from my sound bar to the adapter every time I use them and I have to unplug and reconnect the power when I do that so they will work other than that great product

Bought this for an old sound bar. Sound quality is not affected by the conversion. I will note that you cannot use the TV remote to change the volume on the speakers sadly.

The item works great and is easy to use, provide clear quality sound.

I recently went back to college for my masters and had to convert a corner of our bedroom into a study. We have a 70" plasma in our bedroom as well which makes evenings a bit challenging. This Insignia converter box allowed us to easily connect over-the-ear headphones to my old surround sound theater. I can study and she can watch all her shows without distraction.

Build good and portable, the biggest down side is that it will work only with one digital audio format and my TV is working on a different codec. Seems to be of a much better quality then the one from Ebay but still not usable due to incorrect format of digital signal coming out of my Sharp TV.

Needed this converter to play audio from my newer HD television & Blu Ray player through my older stereo receiver. Thanks to help from a Best Buy Associate, we were able to diagnose the problem, and set me up with this converter and the proper audio cables!

This cord was used to connect my sound bar to my OLED TV. I was able to enhance the quality of the sound and project the sound throughout the living room area. Prior to this the sound seemed to project from behind the tv and seemed muffled. Cord is flexible and the easy to use connectors.

Connection from digital audio out from satellite tv box to device and then to analog audio system was easy and it worked as advertised. The only downside is there is an audio voice delay from satellite device and audio system probably due to the signal change from digital to analog.

I bought this in order to connect my optical out from my XBOX ONE S to an audio mixer for live streaming. I used an RCA to 1/4 plug on the out side of this box to go to the mixer. I am able to hear my XBOX now through my headphones that are connected to my audio mixer. Sound is clear there is no feedback, hiss or hum.

Great to convert my 3- d phono jacks to digital via digital cable from box to new amplifier! A great product and very handy for all people stuck with only phono jacks in back of great 3-d TV's - s sad the industry shut this down over the over-rated 4K - which is now OBSOLUTE!

I needed to connect my Rocketfish earphones to my new Toshiba TV which did not have the correct connections in the rear of the TV and the Best Buy tek suggested this along with 6' Digital Optical Audio Cable -- and it works like a charm. I can now listen to the TV thru my earphones and turn the volume down on the TV so as not to disturb anyone. A great product!!!

Bought a new LED smart TV & didn’t want to purchase a new soundbar also. I had an older Bose that works great. Only problem was it wouldn’t work with TV so we purchased this & it works PERFECT!! Saved us from having to spend $300+ on a soundbar for now till our Bose goes out which hopefully won’t be for a few more years!

I needed this converter in order to use wireless headphones with my tv because it was a little older and didn't have all the available outlets required. It was a life saver and set up was pretty straightforward. The headphones work perfectly with clear audio and haven't had a problem.

This is a great product if you have an older surround sound system. Now we can watch in stereo!

Works better than expected,. my 60" Samsung 8000 series only has optical and hdmi output, want it to connect to my Bose PC companion speakers, this was the way to do it, and it works perfect, no delays, no pause, all good.
