Bought the Insignia™ - Optical/Coaxial Digital-to-Analog Converter the Geek Squad guy told me to get and now I have my BOSE WORKING AGAIN!!!!! Save me from buying a new Bose U need to get AudioQuest - 5' Digital Optical Audio Cable to make it work

This unit allowed to have newer tech to be integrated with older tech, there was no loss of sound quality and sounded great. Happy with purchase.

Setup was very easy and it works great. Only drawback is that it requires a dedicated power source for it to operate.

It does a very good job and I get clear responsive sound. It does not have an on/off switch so I have to unplug it when not in use.

So brought tv an new headset in an they worked with that converter but when I brought everything home it didn't work so I saw the dish box for the TV an I plugged the headset into that an everything works. It was a headset Sennheiser - RS 2000 Digital Wireless Headphone for TV Listening

There are better D/A converters but cost 100s more. This get the job done but if not for the audiophile.

My TV audio output required the digital optical cable and my older stereo receiver was RCA input only. It was easy to set up and worked perfectly from the start. About as easy to install and plug and play can be.

As such, I also use a devise for directing the sound of my TV into my processor. Since my new TV needed this product to do that, I bought one from Best Buy. It has worked just fine.

Quick fix for TV to receiver audio connection

The Insignia Optical/Coaxial Digital-to-Analog Converter solved the connection problem. It works great and was a lot less expensive than replacing the receiver.

This converter works great and sounds great - I was worried it would hamper sound quality but it's still good.
