Like most TV's today my new LG OLED did not have an RCA audio output so I could not connect it to my, perfectly good but old, receiver. The Insignia Optical/Coaxial Digital-to-Analog Converter solved the connection problem. It works great and was a lot less expensive than replacing the receiver.

I wear a cochlear implant. As such, I also use a devise for directing the sound of my TV into my processor. Since my new TV needed this product to do that, I bought one from Best Buy. It has worked just fine.

I needed to convert my digital optical feed coming out of my TV to analog so it could plug into a specific part of my receiver (that powers special speaker zones) and didn't work with straight digital optical. This converter works great and sounds great - I was worried it would hamper sound quality but it's still good.

My new TV only has a digital-optical audio out. I needed to plug in audio headphones/earbuds. This little conversion box did the trick with minimal fuss. I did need to change the RCA out to 1/4" mini plug but for the cost, no complaints. Truly plug and play.

It was what we needed to use the head phones on our smart t.v. The t.v. isn't that smart. They were a little pricey for our budget but they are great to use. Saves a lot of yelling at each other to hear because the t.v. is so loud. Now we can play at a normal volume . The head phones were a gift from family. Best gift ever.

Bought a new TV and it only had digital optical out, and my older home theater system only utilizes analog RCA for the auxiliary input. Plugged this little box up, optical cable between tv and this box, and analog rca between the box and receiver. Works like a charm!

trying to connect older technology to newer can often times be difficult and frustrating. This simple device makes it a breeze. It is easy to set up and works very well. It is a little over priced for what it does, but if this is the item you need, you pay the price.

This Optical/Coaxial Digital-to-Analog Converter box has allowed me to continue to use my old Sony Tower speakers with my new 4k TV. It was easy to setup and has not failed. My sound quality is perfect!

Does the job to hook my Blu-ray player up to an old Bose system without new digital inputs. Does not have top of the line processing that is available in much more expensive units, but as I said it works and now I have sounds thru good speakers opposed to lousy TV speakers.

It's a plug and play device. Works and sounds great.

I got this to hook up to my 400 watt Kenwood sound system to my new 55'' LG OLED tv. Very happy with the sound and quality of this converter.

So, we bought a new tv and the Sony - Wireless FM Over-the-Ear headphones (replaced our old same headphones) so that my wife could watch tv while I sleep. But, the headphones were not compatible with the new LG! The Insignia - Optical/coaxial Digital-to-analog Converter saved us. Easy instructions to follow and set up.

This Insignia - Optical/Coaxial Digital to Analog Converter was used for a "work-around" for the problem I had! I used it in combination with another cable. Nuff Said!!

I have a very old set of speakers and a very old JVC receiver for my stereo system and a new smart TV. With the use of my new optical device, I know have excellent stereo sound through my smart TV. Totally worth the investment of new technology married with old technology!

I was convened about how this optical adapter works with my RCA audio input. I was told by an associate it does not work with his, but another (more experience) associate promise it would work since it also works for his father. He was right.

I purchased a Pyle soundbar and it did not have a HDMI slot. After talking to Tech services I had two options. 1.) return it to Pyle or 2.) Purchase an Optical/Coaxial Digital-to-Analog Converter. I did the second and it was exactly what I needed.

Works good I needed it to connect a speaker to my tv through the walls ! It worked and served its purpose
