Easy to use your old stereo with new television without loosing sound quality

I have headphones needed to be paired to my tv which isn’t Bluetooth and this actually helped to where I can watch tv without waking somebody up

I needed to connect a wire from my TV to an amplifier, and did not have a cable with the proper connections, one being optical. A department manager pointed me in the right direction, and this solved the interconnectivity problem between two different cables. A simple, relatively low-cost, plug-and-play solution.

Works great. Theres a small issue with the spund admitting a high piched squeal, think its more the TV settings or possibly the old stereo receiver. But over all happy with the purchase. It would be nice if I could plug it into USB port and have it shut off with the TV. But, 9ver all happy with it.

I got my dad one of these because he has an older surround sound and he wanted to hook his new tv but not change out his surround sound. His tv only has digital optical output compared the the regular audio cables (red and white) this works out pretty good.

This Insignia optical/coaxial digital to analog converter works ok, i was able to use my old bose speaker die to this connector, sound is fair.

Did not know what I was going to do when I got my new tv and my old Bose system was not compatible; however, with this attachment optical cord, it was no problem. System sounds as new as the day I got it. Would recommend this to a friend.

worked great for converting the digital audio output from my tv to my slightly older theatre system. Easy to connect, took a little setup to get it working well, but has been great since.

This optical converter worked perfectly to convert my newer LG TV audio back to an analog signal for my older receiver!!! I thought I would have to upgrade to a newer system for hundreds of dollars! Great investment for under $30

Great little item that fixed an issue with a new TV not having component outputs. Used this to convert the fiberoptic output to component inputs for wireless amplifying headphones. Worked great, easy to setup and use, and was in stock.

A very knowledgeable Best Buy rep knew exactly what I needed to make my 1998 Bose Lifestyle 5 to pump out awesome music from my Sony XBR65X900F. I combined it with the Rocketfish 4 Toslink Optical Audio Cable and surround sound all around from movies, and everything else.

Gifted this to my parents to convert their older surround sound to a new TV. Saved them money by not replacing their surround sound. Plug and Play.

I recently bought a stereo that didn't have a digital optical cable input/output but had components and this device did a great job of connecting the two. Would suggest to anyone with the same problem, though I hope it's a little cheaper for you.

I had a TV that only had an optical audio output, but the receiver I wanted to connect to only had analog. Picked this adapter up along with a short Toslink cable, reset the TV's output to PCM, and I had clear brilliant audio. It's quick and easy to make any digital output into an analog output.

I have an old receiver that I use for the TV sound. it takes an RCA connection. My new TV only has optical audio output. This device works very well and I am happy with the sound quality.
