Connected my LG 65 tvs optical output to my 30 year old JVC surround sound receiver rca jacks and setting LG sound to correct setting. Worked great and solved the problem

HDMI rules the day, but some still have great components that need adapters to work well. The optical / coaxial D/A converter supports connection of HDMI to RCA for use on older Receivers. Problem solved!

Used this to connect the Roku sound bar to my tv. It’s older so no optical on the tv. It works perfectly! You will need an electric outlet for the unit and move the switch to the optical output.

This works but you must have a separate remote for your sound system because it works independently of the TV. But audio is correct and it does work as a converter.

Good product as advertised. a couple other questions... does the glendelling synchronizer work? hows the oil consumption on the engines? how many hours did she have on her when current owner purchased it?

I was wondering if anyone who is using this has had the problem when it just 'stops working'? I've had mine for awhile now, & has worked great, but now probably too old to get a replacement. I hate it that new tvs don't have just the regular RCA Audio out anymore & you have to buy extra things...that seem to always go out. :)

I purchased this optical/ coaxial digital to analog converter to connect my computer speaker to my TV that I'm using for my desktop monitor and it works good. No connection issues or crazy noises. Simple device that works well.

This converter easily solved my problem of hooking up my new digital TV to my vintage analog stereo system. It was a breeze to hook up and now I can enjoy the audio of all of the programming on my smart TV at a higher level to match the picture quality.

This works great to convert a Toslink Optical cable to RCA audio plugs. It allowed a TV with only a full sized optical output to connect to external speakers that use audio RCA plugs. It installed with no problems whatsoever.

This is exactly what I needed...we looked everywhere and thank god we found this locally. Our surround sound system was very dated ( Bose system but sounds amazing ) and it only had rca cables as a connection. this has multiple options to be able to plug into the back of the tv.

Used every day for months but needed a power cycle to continue working one day. Other than that one hiccup, easy setup and no problems.

Purchased a converter online and it didn't work. Went to Best Buy and purchased a insignia converter and it worked perfectly.

I had a problem: my Fluance powered bookshelf speakers (which are amazing, by the way) only have an analog in, but my TV only has optical out. This neat little converter has solved my problem and given me amazing television audio.

I have put this on my Amazon fire tv and it works perfectly well

I wasn't really familiar with this product before it was recommended to me. I needed this to use my Logitec surround sound system speaker with my new LG tv, This saved me a so much money, since I didn't have to buy new speakers or a sound bar.

This little converter did just the trick! I have a newer TV with digital audio out and an older receiver that only has RCA. Purchased this converter and an optical audio cable and it worked like a charm!

Used this on a family members Samsung tv which I personally don’t like because I needed to use these gadgets to output audio. This worked perfectly with the suggestions by others to change audio settings to PCM.

I am using this adapter to connect my Bluetooth enabled stereo via its auxiliary connection to my Blu-Ray player (Coax) and my Samsung TV (Optical) in our RV. It is working great. The sound quality is good and there are no sound delays.
