I have a bose 2.1 setup and love the sound from it. So when I bought my new tv I was amazed that it only offered digital output. So rather than fork out more on a new system. I used this to adapt and it still sounds wonderful.

If an adapter piece is all you need to keep your old receiver lines open to the new concept to HDTV then rignt above is your switch . Its around my budget and gets the job dob8w. No complaints here No sound loss and used the digital optical for the Ps4

My speakers stopped working on my newer 55in LCD tv and instead of buying the computer board or new tv I used this converter to convert the coaxial sound puns output of the tv to the analog plugs to plug into my sound bar . Works great and good prices

The adapter was recommended by the installation tech. I honestly thought it was just one more thing to spend money on for an “overrated” Magnolia install. But the adapter synced with the old and new A/V components and the sound was awesome.

My Panasonic TV is using a digital audio output so I needed something to connect to my Mixer (which only has analog audio inputs). This works great to combine the signals from the mics and music to create a single signal to send to my amp.

Needed to connect an older amplifier to a newer style TV with no RCA output jacks. Had to change configuration settings on TV audio to get it to work, but once accomplished it works great, just like it is supposed to.

needed to hook up a bluetooth headset for private listening to a TV. but many tv's only have digital optical audio out, and the headset requires an analog audio input (headphone jack or RCA plugs) ... this bridges the gap. worked perfectly.

I am so glad that these products are available. It allows me to use old technology with the new.

Works great, my tv didn’t have an aux input so this definitely did the trick. Would recommend if your looking for a digital to analog converter.

I needed this to convert the only audio output on my TV to RCA and it worked without issue as soon as i connected it. I've had no issues, it did require power input but it came with an adapter with more than enough length to reach the power strip.

We are VERY pleased with this product. The sound from the tv through the stereo receiver and speakers, that his made possible is awesome!

I never kenw there was such a thing, but I am grateful for the helpers in best buy because they recommended the optical analog for my speakers to work with my curve TV. j Simple to connect. Only took me a couple minutes to connect.

This is a very cost-effective converter, that is easy to use.

I wanted to use the optical output on my computer and this does the trick. Audio is good and doesn't have any noticeable quality loss when using it.

I followed the instructions, plugged the converter in and hit the switch to my old Kenwood Amplifier Receiver. Sounds great ! I thought my Kenwood was rendered obsolete until I bought the Insignia.

Needed this adapter in order to utilize our 'old' BOSE CineMate System with our new Samsung TV. It was inexpensive, easy to install and allows us to enjoy the quality sound were were accustomed too with our previous TV

Very Good Product faithful and easy to use and setup

Finally found a product that will let me connect my older LG TV to my desktop computer speakers. LG only has composite and a toslink connectors. This work great and allowed me to connect from toslink to my Creative Labs 2.1 speakers with ease.
