This adapter made it possible to take my TV audio and amplify it in the living room. It works well with DVD's but when I try to use it wth over the air signals - it sounds awful. I don't know if that is just my situation - or the way it is with all units. But it works for what I wanted - night time Move watching.

Rocking new sound on old stereo
