When you have older components mixed with Newer Components it nice to know that there are quality Products out there to keep your old stuff working!!

Had to get a new TV, existing receiver still has the red/yellow/white cable connections-never fails! Glad Best Buy still sells the converters, since I know they're all about current stuff, latest & greatest. But not everyone can afford the replace EVERY component when one goes out.

Easy to use and does and excellent job of permitting you to listen to TV, music, etc. without disturbing others around you.

the one i purchased would not power "on". So i returned it. Seems like a pretty bad device design that you can't tell if it's this device or its power adaptor because the accompanying power adaptor doesn't have a light to tell you if it is working. Which part was broken? Who knows? But the pair together would not turn "on" so got returned.

Works as listed installed in video system to transition audio in s sports bar. Great device and clean audio

does what its suppose to do. used this to feed the digital out from tv to a headphone amplifier for my hard of hearing dad.

Needed this audio converter box because I have an old school Kenwood stereo reciever...My new 4k tv is optical only...work the way it should so I'm pleased...

Much needed part to be able to use existing sound bar on new TV. Bit expensive but liked the tone of the sound bar so did not want to replace it.

I recently upgraded my TV, which of course has new and different methods for cable connections than my old rear projection TV had. Using this converter allowed me to use my existing in-wall RCA audio cabling that runs a long ways to my receiver. I am sure that running a digital optical cable to my receiver would be best, however I was not able to tell a difference in the quality of sound when I did a comparison test. This was a good solution that fit my needs.

Worked perfectly with my old Marantz stereo system.

My receiver did not have optic inputs, my tv did not have rca outs, this allowed me to still have decent sound until I have a chance to replace the receiver.
