Attach old headphones to new tvs

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was the only way to get my magnificent 15 year old cordless SONY infrared stereo headphones to work with my new tv, since new tvs do not have audio input jacks. You will also need an optical cord. Don't forget to slide the little switch to "optical." This adapter and the optical cord were expensive, about $50 total but I was so thrilled to get my cordless headphones to work, I would have paid anything.
