Works well. Bought this for TV that only has digital optical audio output. Needed to plug in a set of headphones for a hearing impaired relative. Sound in headphones very clear and very pleased with this solution to problem.

It works exactly as I hoped. We converted our new tv to play via optical audio to our very old stereo's rca jacks! So far so good.

I was looking for a way around using an amp to power my two monitor speakers but wanted to make sure I was able to use the optical out on my TV. This unit perfectly suited for that: Speakers plugged right into unit and I was good to go.

I was very happy to find this product, which allows me to connect our blu-ray player to our existing receiver with an optical cable. It was easy to connect, inexpensive, and made it so I could keep using my existing high quality system.

Works great and hooked up easily. Gives clear sound and sends nicely to wireless headphones.

I got a new TV and it only had Optical Coaxial audio output. I needed this to connect it to the Sound Bar that I didn't want to replace yet when it still works great. Hook up is easy and it works very well.

I needed to purchase a device that would convert my audio/optical signal from my brand new Samsung tv to my AV system. Despite explaining in great detail and speaking to 3 Best Buy reps including a supposed best sales associate in store I was at first presented with misinformation that the tv itself had an audio out jack that I could use. After purchasing the tv and unboxing I was totally upset to notice that the tv despite my conversations didn't have the intended audio jack. So, after returning to the same store and then locating the needed product I was greeting by another associate who after explaining my experience exactly knew what I needed and too was upset I had been ran around the bushes. So I purchased the reviewed item installed in less than 2 minutes and all was in great order.

This converter is a great buy! It's very easy to hook up and includes all the cables needed to hook up speakers, headphones or any other accessory. The sound is great i would buy again!

Needed a digital to analog converter to connect our tv to our speaker. This was a great price item which worked exactly as we needed it to work.

Needed to connect my Wife's headsets (hard of hearing) to an Insignia TV that did not have an RCA audio out. I searched BestBuy and found the Optical/coaxial Digital-to-analog Converter, hooked it up and it worked as advertised.

A great basic optical digital to analog converter. Works well with no issues. Bought it as an open box for an even better value.

We needed this adapter to hook up our older receiver - RCA to Digital - to our new tv. Of course, the new tv does not have any RCA inputs anymore! So, the geek squad installers told us what to buy. However, they did not really know how to properly hook it up to get sound from the receiver to the TV. We finally figured it out ourselves - had to change a setting on the TV speakers to optical, then it worked. Now we can continue to use our older, but still wonderful sound equipment - and not have to buy new.

Love this product because it allowed me to hook new 65” Samsung tv to my older Onkyo surround sound system. It was easy to hook up and gives me great sound.

If u want a better quality sound with more adjustments on your home surround system then this is the way to go

Replaced a mini to RCA cable with this to use the optical input on my sound bar. Easy install and big improvement in Audio quality .
