The problem was I was pretty much on my own with it. What the Best Buy employee told me to do didn't work; I was just about to box it up to return it when I did something neither he nor the guy at the sound bar help line told me to do and it was fine. Also, don't buy an extra cord with the red and white plugs on it. There was one in the box.
