It's light-weight, doesn't take much room, and installs easily. A must have if you have digital tv and an analogue sound system. The results are a great sound and its quiet.

Used this to connect my eversolo play with my Sonos 100 era. Working great so far.

I bought this because my Epson projector only has a digital coaxial audio out on it and my new speaker bar that I purchased had digital fiber audio in. It also does have the RCA left - right channels in on the speaker bar as well. So, I bought this with a quality RCA audio cable to my speaker bar and I get really good sound from it. I did use a wireless transmitter on this, but it would add on almost a 1 second delay on the sound so it was like watching really bad dubbed shows. So with the cable and this adapter together the sound works exactly as expected.

We bought a new TV and my wireless headphones wouldn't work with the connecting system of the new TV so it was great when we went to Best Buy and found the device that enabled me to use my awesome wireless headphones again. The set up and installation to hook up the headphones was easy and quick. Be sure to click the switch when connecting the device to the headphones. Once we did that it was terrific. We are very happy and grateful for this device and appreciated the best buy customer rep that helped us solve the problem with compatibility with our new TV & headphones.

This item was required to use Sony Wireless headphones thru a Bose Theater sound system. Easy install, instant results, and I can know clearly hear the TV.

Had to buy this converter in order to run a Senheiser TV Headset with my Samsung QLED Q60B TV set. It works fine but don’t expect an unbelievable sound quality with this combination. It just does a job and that’s all. It required a purchase an additional digital cable in order to connect it with my TV.

Every old audio owner needs this device. Optical Digital to Analog is the only way we get to use our old serviceable amps. Mine is a 1969 "Solid State" Kenwood KA-6000. Yep. Old as dirt. Does the job. Until I got a dynamite TV with optical digital output ONLY. You need this. Cheaper than a new sound bar. And check it out: the old amp and my trusty rebuilt Advent loudspeakers are barking out new stuff. Awesome and fun too. Comes with all you need except the optical cable.

The converter works as expected... Wireless headphones had rca input but new tv only had optical out. The converter allows me to use my existing headphones .

This is my second unit purchased... I use them to connect my smart TVs to my stereo systems so that I can listen to TV through my stereo with that Movie Theater Sound :-) I Love and highly recommend this item!

This was the exact product I needed! I spent a few days trouble shooting how to send audio from my tv to my old receiver. I was in Best Buy four times this weekend. I spoke to several associates and all were very friendly and eager to help. Associate Kostas Soldatos was especially helpful in aiding my troubleshooting process. Very pleased with my experience.

Works perfect in my RV. Solved the problem of in/out connections from TV to stereo box.

This item we purchased did not come with a optical digital audio cable. After looking online for this same type to Coverter box, all other companies included the optical digital audio cable as part of the package. That cable costs as much as the converter package through BestBuy. The BestBuy customer service person we orignally talked with did not tell us that the cable was not included or probably didn't know that to begin with. The converter works fine once we got everything necessary to get it hooked to our Bose unit and TV.

I connected my new TV audio to my older receiver with an Optical cable. My Audio has never been better. This device saved me from needing to buy a new receiver.

This unit did exactly what it said it could you. I was able to connect my smart tv to my stereo surround sound system. Now my favorite shows on my tv sound amazing

This little adaptor will take the Optical out on newer HD TV's and provide those audio buffs another option for amplifying the TV audio through a home stereo system. This Digital to Audio converter adapts the digital signal to RCA analog output. For those of us who have escaped the cable box and are receiving our TV over the airwaves or internet, this is the only option for getting the audio out of the TV as most HD TV's won't offer RCA outputs. This is a great product and it works!
