    It worked for a week out of the box but then it randomly quit working. I unplugged it for a 20 count and plugged it back in and I haven’t had any problems since.

    I was forced to buy a new television after only 8 years. My 2003 Surround Speaker System still worked, and caused me to purchase the converter. My new Smart Television and speaker system are the best of friends now. What a happy day!

    Worked good. Not a fan of optic cables as they don’t connect as securely as other types. Worked well at getting a av system going with my smart tv. Do have to adjust settings on tv for it to work with a smart tv but once you do that works just fine.

    With many devices eliminating analog audio outputs - including TVs - it is handy to have a digital optical/coaxial to analog audio converter so that you can connect newer products to older amps or soundbars that only have analog audio inputs.

    Good general purpose. Make sure you read desription. Does NOT support dolby decoding...so wont work if you dont have the option to switch feed coding on your tv.
