This product worked like a charm if you hear a odd noise that makes it sound like it's not working from your tv you just have to go into your settings. My 4k Tv didn't come with a headphone jack so I used this along with a optical cable to connect it to my speakers worked like a charm.

Good thing they invented this converter. I was able to connect the audio of my 75 inches Samsung smart tv (a digital one) to my vintage Bose home theater (an analog one).

Need to hook up a newer tv with optical out to a speakers that did not have on. This did the trick a d works as expected.

Had to return it, didn't fit the system we were trying it on. I'm sure it works great on the correct systems, just not ours.

Strange how new tv's don't come with a simple old audio output jack anymore. Most of the high cost sets only come with digital audio output. This converter solved my problem but it did add another 110 volt plug to an already crowded area.

This only went one way. I purchased a new LG tv and sound bar. The sound bar was optical in only and the tv is rca out only. This device did not make them compatable. If this goes in the direction you need it may be good for you

This product was not the one I was looking for, I had to return it to buy the correct one. Star rating really unknown so it was well constructed, s o I gave it a 4.

I was looking for a gadget to hook up my old bose system to my HDTV in my bedroom and found this item. It allows you to use old RCA plugs in a HD product. I love my old bose and did not want to buy a new sound system! This let me use the bose and I couldn't be happier!!!!

It stop playing sometimes i have 2 unplug it 2 restart it....

Great device. I use it to pull optical audio out of my TV and into a subwoofer. Subwoofer only has speaker inputs and RCA connectors, so this device does the job perfectly converting optical to RCA.

Purchased a new television and could not connect the Bose sound system because the connections are analog. This device allowed me to continue using my existing Bose sound system rather than purchasing a new sound systems simply because the TV lacked analog outputs.

I used this on an old Nintendo system but it was only a partial fix to the problem, not sure yet if it is this product or something else wrong. The games will at least show on the tv now but are still choppy and unplayable :(

Easy to hook up, but occasionally need to cycle power when sound no longer comes out of the auxillary device.

We'd had power surge when several severe storms rolled through our area in early April. Had some issues between the TV and our BOSE receiver afterward, so purchased this converter to replace the existing one. Works great!

I bought this about a month ago now, and I've had zero issues. It works exactly as was mentioned in the description. For those that need to see a con for a product, I guess I could say: 1) the led indicator on top is bright. 2) the led indicator can't be switched off.

Did what it was suppose to do. Hooked my new tv to my 1986 pioneer stereo for sound.

I needed to have a mute and a volume control on the adapter so this did not fit my requirements. It seemed to work fine as a straight adapter.
