Customers appreciate the Optical/Coaxial Digital-to-Analog Audio Converter for its great sound quality and ease of use. Many find it compatible with their existing setups, especially when HDMI is not an option, and consider it a good value for the price. The only notable drawback mentioned is the absence of a volume control feature.

Easy setup. Works fine. Just some noise interference which degrades sound a little. My recommendation is based on not requiring high fidelity sound.

Yes it works in connecting optical and Rca. However certain devices will output Crazy static while turning on or if improper audio settings are selecting like bitstream or dolby. Pcm seems to be the only working output that eliminates the crazy sounds but nothing stops the device power up screeching. I therefore wait for devices to power up before turning on my Rca system. To avoid the heart attack noise that tends to always surprise you.

I use this device to output audio signal to an older deck with analog audio input only, from a TV with digital only output. Works great, no audio latency from the video in the converting process. Highly recommended.

This does a great job of converting digital to analog from my HDTV through the optical port so I can connect my headphones. This would be an unnecessary expense if HDTV manufacturers added a headphone jack to their TVs like they used to.

I bought this to piece together a home theater. My old Apple TV had an optical sound output and my old 90’s stereo took the red and white inputs. I got this and everything worked great.

I've used a few of these for various installs for folks with older audio setups and had very few issues. The light is annoyingly bright but easily fixed with black tape.

For some reason the unit loses audio and requires being unplugged from power for a few seconds and plugged back in From time to time. Not a deal breaker but a little annoying.

Was able to do the same thing running coax connection from cable box digital output and to sound bar. I learned my soundbar can switch inputs without need of an adapter. Would recommend for someone who cant switch their inputs.
