My new TV has optical digital audio out. It does not have analog audio out. This fits the need perfectly. The main thing to remember is to change your optical audio out to the recommended setting. Otherwise it won't work.

This is perfect for hooking up an analog headset to a TV that only outputs digital optical.

No issues with this device as it works as stated. It took a bit of work on my TV to get the sound working through a very old receiver, but had nothing to do with this device but only my neglect to read directions.

It is working and does good job. The only problem you have to turn off your surround sound, other wise you might here some weird static noise in the middle of the day or night .

I was very impressed with the preferment. The price was very reasonable and it was in my local story which made me appreciate having a BestBuy near by.

I got this converter because I got a new hdtv however my old sound system only accepted analog composite L/R input. Works great with my system.

My current TV has no headphone jack. This investment (in conjunction with a digital output cable) now allows me to use my headphones to listen to programs without disturbing my sleeping spouse.

This box was used to connect an analog Bose system to a newer samsung tv without rca analog inputs. The sound is mediocre some fade but not much. Mainly when sound is turned down to say less than medium.

This works as expected; no frills, no surprises. The addition of the RCA cable is a nice touch but there are cheaper options out there that will do the same thing.

An easy way to hook up your low tech speakers to your new high tech media. Just be sure to put your media on the right settings.

PURCHASED NEW LG OLED TV. NEW TV ONLY HAD DIGITALOUTPUT. MY RECIEVEER WAS NOT COMPATIABLE. CHOICE WAS TO GET A SOUND BAR OR NEWER AMP. DIGITAL ANALOG CONVERTER WAS THE CHEAPER CHOICE.

Allowed me to hook up an amplifier with the tv optical cable when the amp didn’t have an optical port. Works very well

Got this because mi old but still working soround sound receiver and separate eq would not connect to my newer TV without it. Now it can and it works great.

I have hearing loss and surround sound does not work for me. I have Sony cordless headphones and needed to adapt them to my new Samsung. This works well.

Out of box special was missing cable I didn't need anyway. Plugged in an optical output from a old Panasonic Viera Plasma , it works exactly as advertised, no glitches.
