I bought it to use on my camper.. This is the best one I have found it's a keeper. Just for local channels, but when you go camping the only TV we watch is local if the weather is looking like it's turning bad. We love it.

Purchased this for my MiL after trying out different indoor TV antennas. Only able to get 1 channel with indoor antennas since Simi is surrounded by hills and mountains. Gave this one a try. Now getting 60+ OTA channels even when it is placed indoor using a kickstand (included). It requires power via an adaptor (included) so you will need to have it near a power source. It's not as big as I thought it would be but definitely bigger than your avg. indoor antenna. Overall, satisfied.

I bought this because it was on clearance. The regular price was pretty high so I assumed the quality would be better than the cheaper models. My plan was to try it out indoors (in my detached garage/man cave) and if it didn’t work well, I would return it. Hooked it up and bingo, we’re good. I will say that all I needed an antenna for was CBS, as I wanted to watch local sports and refuse to pay for the CBS app. This does the trick. I now receive local games in crystal clear quality. Aside from that, I pull in about 40 other local stations, all of which I’ll never use.

This antennae was on sale so I decided to try it. I compared it with a friend's 150-mile, outdoor antenna that tuned in 27 channels and cost twice the amount of the Insignia one. The Insignia antenna tuned 21 channels, so for the price, I am very happy.

This antenna worked great for us, & it came at a very good price! We live in the country & had tried multiple other antennas without success. We weren't able to get our local news stations or our local PBS stations. We bought this antenna when Best Buy had it on sale. We placed it outside & were able to pick up all of the TV stations that we wanted. We were very satisfied with our purchase. This antenna is small but very functional & is very easy to set up. It's well worth the buy in our opinion, & it can be used indoors as well.

The unit was easy to work with and install. I used it for indoor use instead of outdoor. It is designed for both. The unit is smaller than expected for an outdoor antenna, but worked out well for indoor use because of its size.

I initially thought I was going to simply place this at my cable hook up outside and use existing coax to get OTA throughout the house... Then I realized internet is still coming through.. Set it up inside plugged in a waahlah.... Excellent signal.... Only one TV though.... Great Upgrade from the non amplified that I had before

I definitely get way more channels than my regular indoor antenna, about 25 channels more. I think I'm getting about 60 or so channels. All look great without interference. Antenna is easy to install. I have it hooked up to 3 TVs and all work great without weakening the signal.

bought this open box for under 10$ and it worked to my surprise. haven't put it outside the home like it is supposed to be but for now still getting decent channels with decent quality. I think i put it outside the reception quality and number of channels would be good. can buy if you can get it again for 10$

This brought in a few less channels than my RCA amplified antenna that I've previously used, and I did go back to using the RCA after purchasing this, but it's a very good amplified antenna. If you're debating spending the money on an amplified one (if you're not pulling in all the local stations you can) then it's a no-brainer - get an amplified one. As to the performance of this, I like it, but the mount options and setup on this one are the best and make the RCA one I have look positively clunky by comparison. The amplifier on this is fairly compact and the power brick for it is also small as well, so it's good for cramped, back-of-tv install spaces. It also came with very nice waterproof connection covers for the antenna hookup (for outside installation, as my setup is.) Overall I very nice solution.

I have to still figure out how to adjust but when I had it in one area that worked maybe is my wiring would give it a five star sorry if I'm giving it a lower rating because of my mistakes other than that compact nice design and it has pool some clear reception so far

    Good Idea - Poor Execution

This is a small form factor TV Antenna designed for outdoor installation. Unfortunately, it has very poor performance and has some serious design flaws. I tested it indoors before trying outdoor installation and it performed worse than an inexpensive indoor "rabbit ears" antenna I had purchased from Best Buy previously. "Rabbit ears" antenna could find 28 channels, this antenna could only find 24. Worse, the mast supplied with this antenna was so short that the supplied coaxial cable got in the way when you tried to place the unit upright on a surface so the antenna could not stand up properly. This is a shame because both the mounting hardware and the coaxial cable itself seemed quite sturdy. If the mast had been just an inch or two longer, the cable would not have caused mounting problems. If it had not been for the design problem with the mast for the antenna, I would have tried it in my attic or on my roof where increased height might have allowed the unit to achieve better TV reception. However, due to the mast issues coupled with the poor reception when testing the unit indoors, I am going to return this unit.

Just hooked it inside to see if it worked....it's getting a signal and my scan came with 150 channels...the strength on some channels better than others ....seems like ok not sure how you would put this outside with power cord...I didn't read the directions thorough...so go figure..but so far only one day use so good

You will be surprised at how small this is. The antenna works as it is suppose to. Much better than the antennas I have tried inside the house. I am not sure the inside antennas would work just the same if I mounted them in the attic too. I live in the middle of a large metropolitan area, yet indoor antennas have not worked well and I know the transmitting antennas are not a long distance.
