This is an excellent product if you have an older TV that has the old-fashioned Audio Out jacks. I've been using this product for months now and it provides excellent sound, and is easy to connect and to use. However, it is not compatible with my brand-new TV, which does not have such jacks. You will likely need a digital-to-analog converter to connect the headphone base to the newer models.

i have bought different types of headphones for tv before, but these were the easiest to setup. no static and no interference from surrounding wireless (as seen with other headsets) make these a good buy

I use these and a similar, more expensive Sony set. Sound quality is about equal on both sets. This set is a little more comfortable to wear. My biggest hangup is "hanging them up". They are hard to get exactly in the right position on the charging base. The volume control is nicely placed and easy to use. A great value, especially when discounted.

These headphones were exactly what I was looking for.. they are not bluetooth, they operate on 2.4k frequency. they are stereo over the ear phones.. great sound quality but not audiophile. I bought these for my hearing impaired mother to hear the tv easily. volume controls are on the headphones themselves..The transmitter and the headphone work best when they are in visual site of each other, seems about 60 feet is when the sound degrades and they loose paring. They will connect to any device with a source out or a headphone out and come with cables that will accommodate a variety of situations..

I use these mainly for watching TV at night or while on the treadmill. They work very well for that with good sound isolation, and decent sound. The wireless function works flawlessly, no static at all. Battery life is over 8 hours at normal listening levels. My only trouble is the headphones are slightly tricky to set properly in the charging cradle. Even so, a great accessory to have around.

I did a lot of research and reviewing on the internet prior to purchasing the Insignia TV wireless headphones. I received them, once ordering them on line, fairly quickly. After reading the instructions that came with, I found it much easier to setup than I had anticipated. Once charging the headphones on the base that comes with them, it hooked up easily to the TV. The sound adjusts very easily via the controls found on the RIGHT side of the headphones, and the headphones fit very comfortably AROUND the ears. The sound is REALLY GOOD, and it blocks out all the surrounding noise in the room. GREAT BUY!

These headphones are perfect for watching TV late at night when everyone else is sleeping. First, they come with a straight forward and simple to use charging cradle so they are always ready and fully charged when you want them, and "pair" nearly instantly when you take them out of the charging cradle to put them on. Secondly, they have very good sound quality. Thirdly, they have real volume control and on-off buttons that are clearly indicated on the right headphone, unlike other brands of headphones. Really perfect for my late night TV viewing!

First time I've tried headphones of any kind. It was easy to set them up with TV. The sound is great and now I can watch something even if my partner is sleeping. They could be a touch more comfortable (a little tight on a certain part of my ears no matter where I position the band or how I adjust its length - but I have an unusually large head and big ears :-).

I purchased this product on the recommendation of a friend. I wanted something for my husband to use when he is watching TV and either he needs it louder than I would like or I do not want to watch or hear what he is watching. So far it is working good and he is more willing to use it than the previous product I had purchased.

These headphones are comfortable, the sound quality is excellent, and the volume goes higher than we need without distortion. A plus is that although the manufacturer says it works with ‘line of sight’, they also work in another room (away from the dock). Set-up was simple: just plugged it into the back of our satellite box and into a power strip. The headphones charge quickly and there’s also an on/off button on the headphone so you can conserve power when you’re not using the headphones but It’s not necessary to put them in the dock.

I bought these for my 94 year old mother in law who is hard of hearing. I no longer have to crank up the TV volume for her to listen in the same room with us. The headphones have great range, and allow her to listen in other rooms also. My wife has also discovered that she can listen in silence if she stays up late or wakes up early. Sound quality is excellent, and there's no need to tune the frequency like we used to have to do with analog transmitters. Great buy for under $100

So far so good... use these while running on the treadmill so I can watch TV. Was concerned they would be too bulky, but they are lightweight. Sound is good and no problems with the headphones pairing with the base. I plugged the base directly into the back of my cable box instead of the TV - no noticeable delay in the audio.

The headphones work good and the range is great. I can go the stairs and still pick up reception for bit. Quality of the sound is good. I wish I could have separate bass/treble control, but the price it is still worth the money I paid.

Easy to install and pair with TV. Great sound. Love the volume control. Can get up and leave the room and still hear audio from TV.

Easy set-up, good sound and great price for wireless TV head set

This headphone and charger set comes complete with cord(s) to hook up to a television that has either rca output jacks or headphone (3.5mm) output ports. One of my tvs has the rca but my Samsung has a 3.5mm jack so this is what I used. We have a larger bedroom ( 15 x 15 ) and this set of headphones works just fine within that range. The set is also for over the ear use so they fit quite comfortably over the ear with little pressure. The charge lasts quite a long while and they recharge very quickly.

We bought the Insignia Over-the-Ear Wireless Headphones because when I'm working in my office, the TV interferes with my concentration. After my husband used them, I was able to get my work done, so they did the trick! The sound quality is excellent and the sound reaches quite a distance. We really appreciate them and the ease of recharging on the docking station as well. We're glad we bought them and would recommend these wireless headphones.

These headphones work great! The wireless feature allows me to move about freely. They are also great at blocking out the background noises in my home allowing me to keep up with what is happening on tv. With poor hearing it has always been too difficult to watch tv because I couldn't hear well enough to block other noises out and it was just a headache. Definitely recommend these to other folks with hearing problems. My family is also able to listen to the tv at a normal volume while I can turn up the volume on my headphones without blasting them out.

This set is a great way for someone to watch TV without disturbing others. The headset has high quality sound and is easy to operate. This unit is especially good for someone experiencing hearing difficulties.

Purchased on sale, so quite a bargain for a 2.4GHz set of headphones. Has good range. Have slightly more bass sound than some other headphones, so need to use the tone control on the broadcast device to get a more treble sound. Feel very comfortable wearing them.
