Well, purchased this and returned because of the screw driver bits are magnetic. It's goes against all my teachings of PC repair to use a magnet in a desktop/laptop.

Hello, although this tool kit is intended to work with most computers, not all CPU's will have the same screw sizes. Please remember that you can always take advantage of Best Buy's 15 day no hassle return period, in case your kit did not work as expected. Daniel T. - Insignia Support BBY-ExBrand_Insignia

Screwdriver fell apart in my hands. This is not a good set of tools. It's cheap and it won't work when you need it to. I definitely don't recommend this for anyone needing to do even minor repairs on their PC.

On clearance for about 10, very worth it!

This might not work for people whose focus is laptops, but laptops aren't serviced for much more than additional memory and are usually very complicated and might have Torx screws of various sizes and need a magnet from time to time. Laptop computers should be serviced in a clean environment at a desk where you should have a full set of tools and bins to place the parts that are sequentially removed for more involved repairs. This is otherwise a nice COMPACT case with tools. If you want a more complete set of tools, get a bigger and less portable kit. For $1.00, you can buy a little double-sided screwdriver and replace the flashlight if that is what you want. For $10, scoop up this deal.

    Ok Start

This is an okay start if you just need some basic tools for working on a computer or something. I on the other hand didn't care much for it, the screw driver doesn't have a magnet to help screws from dropping and it also feels cheap. I would rather get an ifixit tool kit for the same price and better value.

I got this a while ago and started using it the other day, the static wrist band is so difficult to stay on a computer case and always tangles. The flashlight that is included is not bright or helpful at all. The screwdriver is nice though and the extra screws are helpful.

Did not have small screwdrivers. I was able to use the Phillips bit one time to remove a wifi card from my desktop PC although certainly not a perfect fit. A month later, I got the kit out and the screwdriver would not hold any of the bits--they fall right out if pointed down. Ridiculous.
