Exactly like the Xbox charge and play. Battery life is the same and everything. Literally is just the Xbox charge and play but $10 cheaper. I recommend!

I really recommend it over the official Microsoft one because it has almost the same battery capacity but it comes with a longer cable and it’s $10 cheaper

Cheaper than Microsoft's option, seems to be holding an excellent charge comparable to the official Microsoft X1 play and charge kit. Thank goodness the Xbox team finally switched to USB C for convenient plug and play without worrying about what way the cable goes in. One thing I wish it had compared to the Official Play & Charge Kit for the old Xbox One kits, the cable doesn't have a light to indicate that it is actually charging your controller; but this isn't really a huge deal since the controller blinks its home button to indicate it's getting a charge.

I was gonna get the Microsoft version of this but the insignia brand is literally no different. I was a believer that all my products have to be official Microsoft products but that’s not the case anymore. This item literally serves one purpose and that is to enable you to recharge your controller without the need for AA batteries and it does that well. You don’t need a custom battery door cover on the back of the controller so if you can put your original back on the controller even with this installed under the hood.

Great way to Save money on AA batteries and easy to use. The cord is long enough that even if it dies while playing it’s not a big deal to plug it in and let it charge while you play

Works great! And lets you use the battery cover that comes with the controller which i love i collect controllers and dislike the battery packs that make you use the cover that comes with the pack. Battery last very long and charges quick

I've always bought this brand of play and charge kits for my sons xbox and it has never failed me. the battery work well charges fast and last long during hours of intense gaming. and when I do need to charge the usb cable reaches far so its great to charge while still gaming. I highly recommend his one over the xbox brand play and charge kit that I originally bought but Returned because it did not work at all. would not hold charge. so this insignia brand is definitely the way to go and its price is also great.

This battery pack and cable are perfect for the brand new series X controllers. Cheaper and the same as the Microsoft ones.

Cable is a good length. You can use the same battery cover. Keeps a long charge. Great price !

A good alternative, especially for the price, when the Xbox version is not available. It's also nice that it comes with a 9' cable so you can continue game play while charging. It's a way better choice than having to worry about replacing batteries, or having to change out rechargeable batteries in the middle of gaming. I can't comment on how long each charge lasts, as I haven't run the battery down to that point yet.
