The audio quality isn't that great. The Walkie connection is very weak, and even being half a block away from the house, I could not hear, let alone reply, with the walkie. The 1.2 mile range is likely only for outdoors and in the country, but I doubt it actually reaches that far away. Overall disappointing, but it was worth a try.
