It's getting difficult to find a portable CD player! I looked for a Sony which was my last one, but I couldn't find one. This CD player works; it plays my recorded books just fine. But if I stopped my old CD player and then turned it back on, it started right where I left off. This one starts all over again at the beginning! I'm learning to keep track of where I am but I sure do miss my old Sony.

This CD player is easy to use. The headphones with it produce quality sound.

what is this item you ask? I still have cd's, hundreds of them. my 50 cd holder unit is broken, so I wanted a portable so I could listen to new/old Christmas music. I can't download them to iPod from my location. better unit than the last portable I purchased. one button to start the music. easy to use. I hook it up to a sound bar for music throughout the house. batteries last a long time.

It works really well. I just wish it had an on and off button. Although, I like the feature that allows your CD to stay in place while you are holding it while walking around.

Purchased for my 83 year old mmother. She was visiting and listens to audio books. Works for her, easy to use an the buttons are large enough for arthritic fingers to manipulate.

The CD player was exactly what we wanted although the head phones didn't fit quite right; had an extra set which worked. Price was good. Ordered for in-store pickup which was slow, waited in line for quite a while - one rep who worked with previous customer on a very involved situation. Would have appreciated some help checking out sooner.

I've had this great portable CD player for about a month now and have used it nearly every day. It's a total steal for the money! Very simple to use and understand . I've only had to change the batteries once in a month. Reviews are great on many different web sites. If you're looking for a simple, no-frills cd player, you won't do better than this.

CD works great. Easy to use and the head set fits over the ears and has good sound quality.

I wanted something simple and low cost since I own many CD's that I love to play... though rarely. Most of my listening is via streaming media these days, and since I still play vinyl I figured I should have a working CD player as well. It stays stationary and works fine but not used it too often. Will update if anything to add. I rated it four stars because I haven't used it long enough to say it excellent. Sound quality is good. I don't expect much for the price i paid and in fact got more than expected.

We needed a CD player for reading books on CD, to replace a Sony CD player that wore out . This player is OK, but it does not remember the place where it was when being turned off.

This player plus a single cable enabled CD use in a new car, which came without one. It saved hours of converting music and audio books to a format the car could use.

I bought this to listen to books on CDs. I had to take a step back in time to realize it only works with earphones because there is no external speaker. My mistake, I should have remembered. You could actually hook it up to auxillary speakers but I wanted it to carry around from room to room easily. I put it in a pocket but it did jump more often than I would have liked. It would be great if you just want to listen to something in one place on earphones.
