I bought this for my handicapped daughter because she loves listening to music and can't in the Care Center where she resides without bothering the other residents. She loves it because it's easy enough to operate and use and seems to be quite sturdy. We did have an issue with the first one we bought and Best Buy replaced it on the spot two weeks after purchase but the new one has worked fine. Great option and price if you just want a basic CD player.

We needed a player for a senior who listens to books. The controls were easy to find and use, although opening and closing the lid was a challenge. Also it goes through batteries very fast. All in all it does what we bought it for.

The CD player is of great quality. Buttons and functions are easy to use. I have one and I bought one for a family member that likes to buy CDs. It has anti-skip for when you bump or pick it up suddenly which is a great feature and surprisingly enough, it comes with decent headphones.

I bought this for my wife who is not tech savvy . It is simple to use and not too complicated for her . Once I told to leave the hold button alone it was then not complicated for her . I also gave her sony studio quality headphones I had bought at Best Buy for the best possible sound and she is really pleased .

I purchased this player to listen to books on tape and it works extremely well for this purpose. I'm glad that I purchased it - economical and useful. You do need to use good batteries as cheap ones drain quickly, but the player does work well!

This Insignia portable CD Player is easy to operate. It allows you to search for a track or a section of a track. It allows you to play tracks randomly and to program a playlist. Also, the earphones have a nice sound. However, the earphones are worn in the back of your head.

This Insignia was purchased when I needed an inexpensive portable CD player I could take with me wherever I went while learning some new music. It is small and lightweight and plays well on a car seat or other uneven surface.

We use this out at the grill. Easy to carry back and forth from the house to the grill. Easy to use and good sound. It's nothing fancy, but works great for what we want.

For those of us who still prefer listening to cds this portable player is perfect for the job, and you can't beat the price. The only downside is how fast it will go through a pair of AAs, but any player with do the same so I recommend rechargeables.

I love the sound. It fits in my purse just right. It was reasonably priced also.

I needed something small and simple to use in place of my old school large unit that broke down. Using digital files predominantly these days, but sometimes I just want to play an ol' CD you can't find on the www. This CD player works fine.

The CD player works as it should, and I have no complaints whatsoever. I would suggest that you remove one battery when not in use so that it does not start operating when bumped, carried in a bag, etc. and inadvertently wear down the batteries.

Would highly recommend cd player. Inexpensive and light weight. Sounds good. Easy to use.

I purchased this CD player because my 2020 car doesn’t come with a CD player. I like playing cds. It’s been 4 months and still working. I just recommend purchasing the 12 volt adapter because the batteries only lasted 3 days. Also the only downside is that it doesn’t save where you last left off. Cd starts from the beginning

I needed a CD player at my office to tune out my cube mates. This machine has worked well. It has a good buffer and does not skip when bumped. It gets good battery life, I use rechargeable batteries and am happy with the performance. The controls are straight forward and easy to use. It has a pause feature that works well. I switched out the headphones. They were OK, but I wanted over the ear. Overall quite happy with the purchase.

I LIKE THIS PLAYER; EASY TO USE, BUT MAY SKIP IF VERY GOOD QUALITY BATTERIES ARE NOT USED. EXCELLENT SOUND. I AM NOT YELLING I HAVE LOW VISION.
