I bought this cd player because I could not find a Sony walkman. I was hesitate to purchase the Insignia brand, because it was half the cost of the walkman. I am very happy with this cd player and wish I would have purchased this brand a few years ago. It is easy to use and the sound quality is just thew same as the sony. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Good basic simple to operate CD player that's portable that you can take anywhere. The sound is also pretty good also coming from an audiophile for such a low cost player.

exactly what I was looking for. Attached this to the Aux port in my car, and now I can listen to my CD's on my drive to work. Lightweight, inexpensive, and anti skip feature works well. Very satisfied with my purchase! When I went to the store to pick it up, the customer service was excellent.

I'm using this CD player in my truck since it didn't come with a CD player and it doesn't skip like some of the others. I haven't had any problems with it and I would definitely recommend it for those cars or trucks that don't have one built in.

The sound is good. Easy to use. The only complaint I have is that the headphones are very small. It would be good for a childs head but not an adult.

Very simple to use cd player. If you want something cheap & easy to use then simply pop in a cd and let it crank. I swapped out the earbuds for a nice pair of JVC headphones & presto..instant happiness. The sound quality is very good and the unit is quite durable.

I purchased this product because I have so many CDs from the past and I didnt want to get rid of them. Pros: non-skip, very affordable Cons: needs batteries

I bought this for my mother. She wanted to play CD's in her new car, but cars no longer have CD players. She needed something simple. She is not techy at all. Took some tweaking to figure everything out and have it do what she wanted, but it is working well for her. Only issue she has is sometimes it skips when she hits a bump, but that is expected. Time will tell if it is of good quality to last.

This little unit has great sound through my Sony headphones. Never a problem with skipping even with the function off. I am a child of the 80s, so I have a bunch of CDs and I really enjoy listening to them on this player. Would definitely recommended to any other children of the 80s CD lovers!

I purchased this item as a gift for my mother. She reports having no problems with it, and that it is easy to operate. Her fingers have arthritis, so she likes the easiness of it..I have listened to it and the sound quality is good. The item also seems durable and solid.

For easy use without a lot of fuss, this is just right. The sound is clear and the volume easily adjustable. It even fits is a mid-size to larger pocket and runs on batteries so he doesn't need to be tethered to a plugged in cord.

I still have over 300 CDs and my old CD player just kick the bucket and my laptop is not exactly what I need. This old school CD player is just right. I use it with a thunderstorms soundtrack to go to sleep at night. Luckely this CD player turns off as soon as the disck is over . Perfect for my needs. It's function are simple to use and as power consumption, I still haven't change the batteries yet. Have it now for over a month but only listen to it before going to bed. So not sure if my energy consumption would be helpful for someone who wants to use it on a regular dayly day use. But I have use it over the weekend a few times in a hammock a just chilling.

The greatest in every respect - price unbelievable and clarity remarkable - showed it to a friend and he immediately went to buy one also - with the sound you think you are there in person and easy for an older person to use. I use it when I am on the trewadmill and time flies by.

Purchased this for my ten year old son to listen to CD's on, he loves it! ( yes we are a house that enjoys some throwback ;) It's nothing fancy, but it does what it should and the price is right for what it is. I was pleasantly surprised they still made these, they certainly are much cheaper then they were when I first purchased mine. :) Bottom line, if you have a awesome CD collection that you've accumulated over your years and want your child/children to know what great music actually is, and to listen to it in a 90's nostalgic way to boot, buy this. ;)

Again another very satisfying purchase from Best Buy. Despite streaming music sometimes I like to listen to my old CDs this unit plays them well is easily operated stylish and functional with an excellent price.

Since these are obsolete I found a solitary, very cheaply made one from Walmart and it was not good. It squeaked! I then found (also only one) at Best Buy and what a total difference in quality! It works great every time I listen to my CDs!
