This is my second Insignia portable CD player. It just can't be beat for audio books. Since I'm lying down a lot, I don't use the headphones that come with it just because they are uncomfortable when lying down. I have found the Sony earbuds (several styles available) the best so far. This little player does a respectable job playing music, too. You can't find anything like it for this price - I know believe me. I have had a lot of CD players, some costing double what this one costs and have not lasted as long or CONVENIENCE IN CHANGING THE BATTERIES!

Easy to operate and small enough to carry along on trips. Battery use is good.

Very few portable CD players available on market. This one has a good quality sound when playing the CD. Also doesn't skip when you are walking.

I brought this cd player for my cousin who is just starting to get into music, he loves the simplicity of the player and the quality of sound. He has been using the player everyday since purchase without any problems.

My 4 year old Sony CD player stopped playing. Went to Sony and they don’t make them anymore. Checked Best Buy. They offered two CD players. I bought the $29.09 dollar one. Sounds and works fine. Great price, too!

I bought several of these and everyone I gave one to enjoyed listening to their music on it. It has great sound quality and is very affordable.

I have a teenage Godson who has a younger brother. What I buy for one I generally buy for the other, especially at Christmas. I also bought this for myself as my old one broke. With a vast collection of CDs, was not going to let them go to waste. Love the sound quality and the behind the air headphone that comes with the player (they did not fit on top of my head and don't believe they are adjustable) Good value for the price.

bought this for my dad who wanted a portable CD player, and thats what this is nothing more nothing less, but works great, sound is decent and even came with batteries included!

Clear sound and easy operation. Could have included wall plug instead of having to go buy separately.

I have purchased this same cd player several times. It is for a senior citizen who is vision impaired and enjoys listening to recorded books. It's simplicity makes it very easy for her to use and it is pretty durable. She uses it approximately 12 - 18 hours a day, every day, so it gets a lot of use. The price is also very reasonable so I always keep a new one in reserve for when one wears out!

Love this portable CD player plays CDs excellent no issues whatsoever don't have to worry about the Insignia brand love that brand it is Best Buy's brand i own many of their Insignia Brands and never had an issue with them battery life is good been playing it for almost a week and still on the original batteries Sound on it is great but I don't like the headphones that comes with its there kind of crappie but I got new headphones but overall you need a portable CD player don't go spend your money on them expensive name brands get a Insignia one with a new headphones and your be rocking out to some nice music

Like a lot of things now, this is built to be somewhat disposable. However, it’s hard to argue it should be more durable at a $20 price point. This is the second one I have bought in the last few years as a present for a younger child. She wore out the last one. It comes with batteries and earphones, which is nice. Just don’t expect it to last forever.

Sound quality is very good. It has a cache which it uses and then plays back for when the player gets bumped, This makes for repeating word or words at times. Probably is not noticeable for music but since I use it to listen to books while I am on walks it took a little bit of time to get used to an ignore the duplicates. All in all though a good instrument.

Got this portable cd player for 2 reasons....my car CD broke, and I also needed a portable cd player for single cds. This is solid, doesn't skip, works great. Great price too!

Love it, as we have no CD player in the car. Takes up little space and easy to understand. Even goes through the Blue Tooth in the car. Very Happy with this product.

I bought this for my dad who is in a memory care facility and has always LOVED music. He can still read to follow instructions and I wanted something simple to use and portable - use with headsets so he could listen whenever he wants. There are no words like "start" or "stop" or "press here" - you have to know what the symbols mean and he doesn't so I used bright red fingernail polish on the "stop" button and green for "play." Nice to see him in a recliner, headsets on (I could plug in his own from home that were familiar to him) and a smile on his face listening to music!

Easy to use and has a fantastic sound quality for a small portable CD player. Enjoy listening to my music CD when possible.

Bought this Insignia portable CD player for my wife. She takes it out with ear buds when she's working in the garden and listens to books on CD. Very portable and good sound quality.

Reasonably priced. Great to use in the gym. Great for listening to audible books.
