This is an excellent portable cd player! It doesn't skip or jump, and it has extra bass to make the music even better. The radio is also very nice. What would make this *perfect* is if it could offer adjustable, surround sound effects, and also allow you to rewind/fast forward within a single track, not just through the entire cd!

I was looking for a small, hand held CD player that also had an FM radio so I could listen to news when away from home. This CD player was alli that I was looking for and it also has pretty good sound..

I been wanting to buy this player for a long time. I read negative reviews on this player and good reviews. I can finally have my say now. This is a great cd player. It was good with the headphones that came with it. I wanted better, louder volume. I decided to try my sony headphones with this player. Man, I was amazed at the difference better headphones made. I am well satisfied with this purchase. The player has a bass switch. I am enjoying listening to my rock music on this player kicked back in my recliner. Everybody has their opinion on things. My opinion is this player is worth a try. By the way, my sony headphones are only twenty bucks at Best Buy. I give the sound quality 6 stars with the headphones that come with it. I give the player 10 stars with my sony headphones.

We bought this as a Christmas present for a blind friend who has trouble with buttons. He can't read and wanted to listen to CDs on tape, but has had a heck of a time with the buttons being too close together. He is able to use this CD player with ease! Nothing fancy, but served a great purpose!

The product works fine for listening to the CDS I made for myself to help memorize music. The truck I just bought does not have a CD player and I do not have one in the house so I can use this in both places quite easily.

Plays my CDs encoded with mp3 music

I have backed up many music albums encoded as mp3s on Data CDs. A good thing that I did. Hard Drives crash & die. Having the mp3 encoded Cds saved my music. Reload it on the next Hard Drive. Having a portable CD player gives the discs with some 10 plus hours of music a dual purpose. It's a backup that let's you listen at home (even patch it into your stereo system) or take it anywhere you want.it is a portable cd player.

I really like this player. It has good audio and is easy to use. The only thing it is missing is a memory to start a CD where I stop it. Otherwise, it is easy to fast forward to the last point of listening. Very good and would recommend it to a friend. It is east to carry around, I take it to the gym and the headset is very comfortable.

I've never purchased one of these before, so I don't really have any standard by which to compare it. I must say that I have almost returned it a couple of times because it doesn't always work on the
first try. I bought it for my mother, who is in the hospital, and it doesn't fit on her head well ad doesn't appear to be adjustable. It seems very cheaply made, but I guess you get what you pay for. Warning: every time my mom listens to a CD, I need to change the batteries, no matter which brand I use.

Unit worked well. I had bought it for my father-in-law to be able to listen to books. Although he could listen to the books, the unit did not have the ability to remember where he would stop reading in the middle of the CD. Therefore it did not work as we had hoped.
Battery life seems to be short so I would recommend buying rechargeable batteries. Reason for 4 stars.

The CD player has been a good product, only drawback is that batteries even those that claim long life do not last long if I play the player for almost 5-7 hours during my work shift. I have to change the batteries before the next use.

Bought this to play CD/MP3 audio books, which my old unit wouldn't do. The problem is that even though it DID play the CDs it would periodically and unexpectedly 'stall', just stop playing; eventually (perhaps 15 minutes, and often more) it'd either continue or inexplicably go back to the START of the disc and I'd have to track forward to my listening spot. !! Very bothersome, especially because each track was a half or a whole chapter of the book, so had to listen to many minutes of what I'd already heard. ... Apparently the problem is that these CDs were bought from the U.K.; the MP3 format CDs did at least not stall in my car's Kenwood player (10+ years old), but even then fast-reverse and fast-forward didn't function. ... However, this unit played regular CDs just fine, with fast-forward/reverse working. So the only real problem is that the slide-lid for the battery compartment was impossible for me to open with my fingers; it was just too 'tight', and I had to use rubber gripper-pads for 'traction' to slide it open.
