Not good on battery life. Good sound and easy to read screen.

Great CD player to hook up to decent size speakers and play music whether it be in a living room or a car, you don't need a fancy big CD player, this little CD player works just as well.

The sound is pretty good and the device is easy to use.

I was on my way to the airport and wanted to listen to some audiobooks I had. I stopped by Best Buy to see if they still sold cd’s. I found the Insignia and it was quite inexpensive. I wasn’t sure if it would last the trip so I bought two. Months later, the first is still going strong. I am very happy with my purchase.

Good sound quality and features for the price. Easy to use.

I like the sound & skip protection. Is user friendly. I would like to have a feature which would allow the Cd to resume exactly where I left off when I shut the player off. Now when I resume listening I have to manually fast forward from the beginning of the CD each time.

I've owned Insignia electronics before - some great (HD Radio Tuner) and some ok (soundbar).'This portable CD is better than most of the stuff available...which is declining. I'd buy one just to have if you have a CD collection like I do. Only wish it had a backlit display, but most don't these days.

Indignity products have always performed well for me and I expect this CD player will also. It has good sound is easy to operate and I got it for a great price.

battery life seems too short; wish it wouldn't reset to beginning instead of having memory to remember where left off on disc; bass sound sometimes too much with little opportunity to adjust. As noted in summary, okay

CD players seem to be going extinct so I’m glad Best Buy still had this portable one in stock. My wife’s new car doesn’t have a built in CD player like most new cars these days so this was a good solution for her to be able to listen to her collection. Good sound and decent battery life without skipping!

It's exactly want I wanted. It has a great sound. It's easy to operate . Great instructions with it.just the right price. I like the fact it has a fm radio.a great idea for a gift.

easy to use, good sound quality - the display is clear and easy to read. My only complaint is that it doesn't show total time and tracks until after the disc is finished

The only thing on my wish list for this unit and others like it is this: Please include an LED light for the display. A 5 to 10 second timer would be good as to not eat up the battery for lighting up the display. I use this player in the evenings and at night. This addition would be most helpful.

Haven't used a cd player myself in some time. Have an older family member that listens to a lot of audiobooks on cd's and had an old portable cd player that gave out. They wanted something simple and portable so I bought this as a gift. They love it, they didn't need anything fancy, just something that worked well and was easy to use. This fit the bill and in the couple of months they have been using it, no complaints. Can't go wrong for the price.
